Today I was in Ghent to have lunch at the restaurant where our daughter is sous-chef (cook). It was so yummie!!!
On my way back to my car, I passed this fantastic shop and of course I couldn't resist going inside...!
They have such gorgeous stuff there, with tapestry: bags, pillowcases, wallets, etc....
I just couldn't say no to this gorgeous bag, especially because it was 50% off price.....:D

They have really pretty bags like that at our cat show in November. That was a find!
I have a tapesty-like jacket with all bunnies, a similar style to that bag. My sister-in-law (the mom of 3 solid black rescue kitties) told me if I ever saw a cat jacket like my bunny one, she'd love it! I bet she'd like that bag, too!

I have a couple of canvas dog bags from the Laurel Burch line. These are more pop-art design, than realistic looking. She does dozens and dozens of different bags, jewelry, accessories, etc. The website that carries a huge selection of her line is www.colorfulcritters.com. There are canvas, tapestry and leather selections of cats, dogs, horses, and a smaller selection of other critters and all in various colors. If you like something a little different, you might like some of these.

Pomtzu, these bags are made from real tapestry fabric, no plastic or so:)

My canvas bags have a waterproof backing, but the tapestry bags are tapestry fabric with a cotton fabric lining - just to clarify should anyone be interested.Quote:
