I'll cook up some latkes - potato pancakes - for anyone who wants some. I'm not Jewish, but the city I live in has a large percentage of Jewish residents, and any excuse for a fried food is good, right?
Windy, rainy, window-pane rattling stormy night here right now, so something warm is welcome. Hot tea, please!

Isn't that funny? I was just going to ask about apple sauce for the latkes. The last time I had them they came with applesauce.
Boy are they ever yummy - the sour cream and bacon sounds excellent too.
Let's see - maybe I will have them with some hot tea with lemon.

This is the funniest thing on the planet. I was in my sis' car and picked this up. She gave it to me......
When you launch it it screams like a crazy monkey. I got this sucker to fly about 15 feet and every time he flies I laugh like a maniac.

Latkes always also remind me of the Swedish hamburgers we used to make every once in a while - add grated potato and chopped onions to your ground beef, form into patties and fry or grill as normal - yummy! Of course, now I'm allergic to beef, so I'd have to stick to just the potatoes - so latkes it is!
