New Hair color

Well yesterday I was in a BAD PMS mood. Poor Brian but he's a trooper lol. I've been thinking about coloring my hair for a while but wasn't brave enough. I really hated the natural coloring of it lately. It was just a mousy ash-like dark blonde and I just didn't like it. I guess my bad mood gave me the push I needed and I went for it. I got a color called "Rich Auburn Blonde". I had two different reds picked out and couldn't decide so I got hannah to pick between the two lol. It is SO SO SO different from anything I've ever done before but I am in LOVE with it. It definitely perked me up and jerked me out of that bad mood I was in

Thank you. Yeah it took me a while to work up the courage to do it but yesterday I figured I'm gonna do it and if it doesn't turn out I can just dye it another color or stay locked in the house LOL

I think Hannah made a good choice too. It was this color or another red that was more "traditional" red. more on the strawberry blonde side. But she picked this one :) I'm glad she did

I like it. In this photo, it looks as though it should be your regular color - how close the color of your eyebrows is to the hair shade.

VERY nice! I like the new hair style too, although you didn't mention that is 'new.' It is different from the 'before' photo, and frames your face nicely.

I LOOOOVE IT!!!!! You can really carry that color off, girl. I tried. Unfortunately, I have fair skin and it makes me look pale. My mother's entire family were all redheads. My cousins inherited that color. I've resigned myself to having gray hair (thanks Dad!!), as coloring my hair is a pain in the arse. But I've also been told that I can carry my kind of gray hair off, as it looks like highlights in the summer.

I really like it, too. It brings out your eyes more. If you lived near me, you'd never have to worry about working up courage to change your hair color. I used to change it every month and a couple of my friends caught the bug, too. Really kept my hairdresser hoppin'! Good for you, Tanya.

It looks great! Another natural blonde gone red. I did it 3 years ago. I was born blonde, but it had turned mousy and boring.

Like me, you have the skin tone for a redhead and probably wear clothes that a RED would wear. My red starts out as Deep Red (Malaysian Cherry) and then gradually fades over several weeks to a deep strawberry blonde.

I've been a darker red head before and people also thought that it looked natural on me but my problem was that it seemed to fade too quickly.:( I even tried the special nonfading shampoos but nothing seemed to help. Now I actually use a color called Light Natural Blonde but since my hair is more of light to medium brown it turns my hair more of a strawberry blonde which is the hair color that I was born with. I prefer to call my hair a golden blonde though.

I was gonna say the same thing!!! You look awesome, very natural! I had forgotten you had gorgeous blue eyes. I'm so glad you feel better. Thankfully my spigots have been turned off for ages but I remember doing some things I never thought I would while in the throes of PMS. It helps to have a supporting husband too. What'll you do next month???? :p:D:D:D
