Since it's so hot across most of the country, I think it's time to call a waterworks Thursday and fill up the kiddie pools on the patio and fire up the BBQ....
Hot dog and hamburgers, marcaroni salad and chips.
Beer and wine coolers!

We can fill it with our river water. It's rained here for over a week. Finally having a dry day. If our river water is good enough for us to drink (and we do) it ought to be safe enough for the kiddie pools. :DQuote:

Yeah we have some sort of squash growing in our compost heap. We're not even sure what kind it is. All dozen or so of our tomato plants either have flowers and or tomatoes on them. Broccoli is coming in as well as zucchini and summer squash and we have an egg plant, lots of peas and green beans. I'm gonna be busy with the whole canning thing.Quote:
