Do you like the tubs at my backdoor?

I don't think I have had a blue/purple and yellow colour scheme before. It works rather well I think, even if I do say so myself. :p
Pity I didn't think to sweep up before I took the photo.

The big violet flowers are Petunias, Randi, and they are scented which is a bonus.

That looks beautiful!

I think the small blue ones are called lobelias. They make good herbal remedies for things like coughs and asthma.

You can say so! The violet/purple colour in the middle of yellow makes it all! Beautiful! :)

Thank you all for your lovely comments. As Barbara said, we have had such lovely sunny weather this year that the plants are really bulking-up well.

I had no idea that lobelia were used in herbal remedies. I hope I don't need to make use of them!
