Fister is fourteen

How time flies! It seems just like yesterday Fister and his mom was running around in the yard. He started coming for visits when he was about one year old. Now, Fister has been up here for almost thirteen years. He still loves to explore the yard, though, and is usually down for half an hour or so in the morning - almost daily in the summer season.

Of course, he has slowed down a bit, but he can certainly race around when he’s in that mood. :D

I took him to the vet for a check-up a few weeks ago and I am SO happy he is a healthy boy. :)

Fister has of course been the center of attention all these years, so we have taken many pictures of him. I searched for old ones which I’ll post here.

In his early years, he loved to climb the tree next to the dustbin shed and sit up there surveying his yard.

I love all the photos, pink paws, soft belly, etc. Fister is so cute! I have never met him, but I am convinced he has something special. I mean, all cats have something special, but some have something even more special :D Perhaps it is in his look and his ability to communicate with humans. Peppito is of this kind too ;)

After breakfast I had to rush out for a meeting, but I did get a few pics of him in the window that I have now uploaded. We had some time for a good brushing and some treats, of course! :p

Yesterday, I went to a new pet shop called Maxi Zoo - quite big, but they didn't have all the things I wanted. I got some mice, a box of 4 different wet food with gelé... Purina, and a can of eco wet food called Bio Plan. He seems to like both. :) I wanted to get him a lazer pen as well, but forgot. He doesn't really want to play much, never have - but some good capnip is always interesting.

Fister sends purrs and thanks to you all. :love: Just as I was finishing my dinner, he proudly produced a hairball right in front of the bedroom - of course on a carpet. :rolleyes: I suppose it's because he was down chewing some grass the other day. Could of course be that he indulged a bit too much in his treats. He seems fine though. :)

At the vets, I asked if there was some kind of supplement that he might need and the vet said; perhaps some Omega 3 oil, so I bought a bottle of that, which Fister has had about ten drops of a day. I don't know if that would cause him to puke.

Funny about those freckles - they seem to come and go, and to move around a bit.

Yes, Fister's mom was quite a beauty, although grumpy. Only when she was very sick, she came to me.

What a lovely picture of Michael and ?? - Fister appreciates the snacks they sent. ;)

I'll pass on all the kisses and headbumpies and tummy rubs. :love:
