Just NW of Calgary - SAME! Kinda pretty....
Rainy, send me the snow!
Been overcast an like its about to rain,, but been that way all day so far.
supposed to be getting snow in the forcast for next Friday.
but i'll believe it when i see it,, i can predict the weather much more accurately than our forecaster by just looking out my window LOL hes very rarely ever right.
The snow backed off for a while, but it's back at it again. At least it's not staying on the ground, yet.
It's staying on the ground, roofs, cars...I needed a filter for my vacuum cleaner, and thought "I'll just pop out..."
Looked out the window. Nope. Roads would be a little too nasty.
It was cool but very sunny today, in the low 60's I think, F of course. Rain is supposed to arrive tomorrow.
Currently raining. :D:) I'm happy for that because I really want to go out Morel Mushroom hunting tomorrow and it's been too dry here for them so far.
It was HOT here today. Not sure exactly how hot it got, probably in the mid to upper 70s. It's supposed to get to around 77 tomorrow. But don't be jealous yet. We are supposed to get rain again starting Tuesday. Just a replay of what happened last week. We had a beautiful weekend then a stormy week followed by this beautiful weekend into another storm week. I just wish it'd make up it's mind already!
Rain. Ugh.
HOT at 77??? - that's just perfect. :) HOT is in the 90's with the humidity level to match, and unfortunately that's not too far in the future!
Been in the 60's here - rain overnight last night and it's cloudy, chilly and damp right now.
Hoping everyone that was in range of yesterday's tornadoes, came thru safe.
Hot in FL, in the 80's, A/C is on and has been on for a month or more.
It was sunny and around 75 yesterday but today was hotter and it was in the 80's. I was at my parents house which is further south of me and it was about 85 there. Luckily it cools down at night. It's still about 70 degrees right now so I have my bedroom window and sliding glass door open. My cats are enjoying the night air.:) Like Cindy said earlier, we'll be having rain this week and it will be getting much cooler again.
Still overcast here an at 49°F.
True, but it is hot for how it has been lately. Usually I am cold if it dips below 70. ;)
The clouds have moved in and it might start raining tonight. :(
I was outside in shorts and a T-shirt until almost 9pm last night. Besides the mosquitos eating us, it was nice.
The city of Calgary has a winter storm warning. First its going to rain, then it's going to turn to snow, 10-20 cm of snow!! Today and tomorrow will be treacherous days. Those of you who live here, be careful!
Snow huh? Lucky ducks! Could you send some of it to Trenton?
We've got sun today!!! Yesteday and last weekend too!!:):)
It's too warm to come down just as snow but too cold to come down just as rain so it's been a mix since about 10 am this morning. Sometimes its light, sometimes its heavy. The trick will be to do my 20 minutes of walking without getting completely soaking wet!
Ugh!!!!! Wash your mouth out, Eileen!:p Didn't you have enough this past winter?
It's been rather chilly here the past few days. First some warm weather, then it cools off again. But - Friday and Saturday it's going to be back in the 80's. Yippee. It was in the 50's today - I'm still wearing sweatshirts! :(
We have another winter storm warning!
Strong winds and blowing snow, starting tonight and into tomorrow. Good grief, will it ever end?
Goodness gracious - we are having the opposite. We have hot, humid weather, practically unheard of for this early in May. The weather has been so wierd that the lilacs are in full bloom now, when they're usually much closer to Memorial Day!
YIKES.
Was going to drive into Calgary tomorrow...ummm...I don't think so!
Typical OH weather here. Rain and wind and rain, then 80 degrees, then back down to 50. Feels like summer will never get here.
It's supposed to be getting cold here this time of year.
But nope......sunny days, warm all the time.
Shirt off in the garden yesterday.........beautiful :p
It's like a blizzard now! Not cold enough yet for the snow to stick, but visibility is terrible.
Spoke too soon, the snow is staying now and visibility is down to next to nothing. I can hardly see the big fir trees across the street. If this keeps up we could have alot of snow by morning!
It is finally starting to cool down here :D. It is currently 5.5C and the dogs are all rugged up and I am off to my warm bed :p.
Really super windy and trying desperately to snow now. Candace if you're coming into town the snow shouldn't be a worry, but the wind could be a problem on the highway - take care.
Thanks, Gayle. I have a chance to pick up a free replacement Blackberry from a friend, so may risk it.
HWY 1A can be nasty....but if I make a short trip. Not snowing out here yet...
Are we sure its MAY???
It's snowing and staying on the ground. It is -3oC with a -9oC windchill. Like what the heck?
Sorry, Gayle & Candace, it's sunny, the windows are open, I'm in shorts and it'll be in the 80's today. Be careful up there, ladies!
I don't mean to rub it in,Its in the 80's here..Has been the last week! Its about time! The only complaint i have,This year its really windy...We all have wind burnt faces..The forcast for the next 4 days is thunderstorms..I never listen to the weather network..When i get up in the morning and look out is the only way to really know what the weather is.
I hope for you Calgarians the weather warms up!We had a really long winter..we dont need this crap anymore!
And just when you think it might be done snowing you look out the window and boom, it's pouring snow again!
We are supposed to get snow this weekend,This has really been an unusual year...Never have we ever had snow in May...Mind you we had no snow the first of March..Our hole March was beautiful.....So we just sit back and wait and see what we get.
I can't imagine the weather you all have in Alberta. Snow in May....yikes! I'm in Florida and it is hot as all get out, as usual. We run the A/C probably 80-90% of the year. Snow is so foreign to me. I'm sure you pretty tired of it.
Just got the latest forecast and it looks like we can expect snow this weekend also. Pray that the winds will shift. It's -2 right now with a cold north wind. I expect we will be getting up Sunday with snow for Mother's Day...Back to the heavier jackets....ugh...
