Well - you encouraged it, didn't you? :p
Be careful what you wish for! :D
Found Cats Hotel South??? :D
Word gets out quickly on the Cat Hot Line. The whole neighborhood's probably talking about the free grub to be found at your place.:D Cats, gotta love 'em!
Thats cool Found Cats Hotel California.
Lots of Kittens and Edster at Found Cats Hotel Califonia
Edster and the Kids living it up in the sun.
Richard going broke buying treats and food
As every Stray Cat sings California here I come!!!
Actually I would gather the Kittens while they are young Richard and catchable , and call an Animal Agency as you dont want them to become feral.
Maybe keep a friendly one or two , we think Edsters lonesome!!!!:love:
:) Goofy Feed them.. Now we can call your place Kitty Cat Hotel California.. :D
The cat that is the kitteh mill is the one that started it all.
She's an elusive one that disappeared for a while and showed up with a little one in tow.......now it seems that she had a litter of four...
I already have appointments for the two girls to get fixed, now I have to get them done and try to catch My Little Fren.....she's the culprit.:rolleyes::o

GARY is to blame for this!:D;):)
Hee hee, I agree with Gary on this one. And I love the Found Cats Hotel California name.
Good luck!! :D
Sung to the tune of Hotel California by the Eagles....
Hotel Cat-lifornia
On a dark smoky Tuesday, I got up from my chair.
I went to feed the cats, hiding outside somewhere
Out on the patio, I saw an unnerving sight
My eyes grew larger and my heart grew big.
I knew I was in for a fight
There they were on the patio, it’s kittehs as far as I can tell
And I was thinking to myself,
this could be heaven or this could be hell!
They were startled and then ran away
Then there were meows down the corridor,
I thought I heard them say...
Welcome to the hotel Cat-lifornia
Such a lovely place
Such a lovely face
Plenty of room at the hotel Cat-lifornia
Any time of year, you can find it here
Her mind is Whiskas-twisted, On me they will depend
She got a lot of pretty, pretty kittehs, that she calls friends
How they dance on the patio, sweet summer Cats.
Some dance to remember, some dance to get fat.
Oh my god Richard i love your lyrics, really seriously they are good, and being an eagles fan i can sing along with you.
Now jokes aside you do have a real problem on your hands and i can empathise with it, better find some stress busters somewhere, because buddy you are in for some.
Take care Richard and all the best with your overstayers.:):D
So I had called up the vet.
I need some of his time
This was before the new litter of the year two thousand and nine
And still those kitties are coming from far away
I wake up in the middle of the night,
Just to hear them say…..
Welcome to the….
Shrimp that may need peeling,
Some chikin would be some good.
The kitties say, We are all just visitors here, looking for food!
And on the patio
They gather for the kibble
They eat it with their hungry tongues
They don’t believe in just “nibble”
Last thing I remember
I was running for the door.
I had to check on the food,
In case they needed more
Relax, said the kittehs,
We appreciate the chow..
You can feed us any time you like
But , WE WANT IT NOW!
I see that you don't need the Eagles afterall............
Love it-love it-love it!!!! :D
OMG too funny and too clever!!
It was Hotel Cat-lifornia, Stray Cat Strut or Cat Scratch Fever.;)
To the tune of "Stray Cat Strut" (Setzer)
Stray cat strut, I'm a yellow cat,
RICHARD's house, hey man, that's where it's at!
Get a little bit of catnip from the garden, and
Get my dinner from a very kind man.
Wait....what's that???
Turn a little more to the left Richard....yes, that right. Ah, there it is.
SUCKER written all over your forehead..... ;):D
They know a softie when they see one. That's okay, they won't tell anyone but the other cats. And neither will we.:D
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHA!
Now that I've got that out of my system, I can sympathize w/you, RICHARD. Seriously though, it's imperative that you somehow get those kittens placed and/or altered. The same thing happened to me before I bought this house and I ended up w/27 outdoor cats very quickly and that's after I had placed many more before that. It gets out of control so rapidly! Sorry, I don't mean to sound preachy but there's no time to waste.
I feel your pain, Richard!!! I'm thinking of opening up a hotel for unwanted cat moms myself!!! Lilac, the black and orange cat I started feeding a while back under the lilac bush, showed up with a black kitty in tow. It must be a few months old. So I have them to feed, plus Winnie and baby Angel.
Every year I get the "365 Cats" calendar and last year there was a picture of a little cat named Chelsie. Chelsie had come around someone's house and looked forlorn and hungry; they fed her. She consumed her meal, then rounded up her two brothers and brought them, too! The kind person adopted all of them.:love:
Do I sense the same theme here?:D
dude, this is exactly how mojo brought me majic cat....trap spay release, check your local area, maybe someone can help the costs and with the trapping...
I am gonna nip this one in the bud. Either that or I am going to start urinating outdoors to mark my territory?;)
That certainly conjures up an odd image Richard, we bet the Edster would wonder about his Human Dad!!!
:confused::confused:
I have Cats in the Back Yard as my neighbor on one side has Loud Dogs so they wont go there , and theres a lot of traffic in the front.
Tuxie and Ebonite Tubster were on the front porch waiting for dinner.
I will take them both in, and they are young enough that they can adapt here!!!Also Scrappito and Golden Rod who are older and hungry!!!
:love::love::cool:
They are both Young Toms , I would say about a yera old. That should lively things up around the Hotel!!!
:D:D:D
LOLOLOL,
I have had a great time playing with the little ones the last few days.
They are nesting under the house and come out to see the world every so often.
I am trying to get them far enough away from the hatch so I can cover it up and put them into a box.......
I try to beat them to it and an rewarded by looking at kitteh arse scrambling to get to the hole. I am getting old and hate to be beaten by a few kittehs that are faster than I am.;)
I am falling in love.....
I am older too Richard , and one thing I have learned is that when they want to come to you, they will and you have to let them choose the time that they are no longer nervous among people!
Its as always is the Cats Choice!!!
:love::love::love:
Well matey i have heard of men and their harems but a kitty harem is a new one on me he he, just kidding, i love reading your posts and i can tell you are rather smitten with your new furbabies.:)
I have to tell this story because I was lazy and relieved!
The kittehs are living under the house. The are fairly safe there and out of the elements.
It HAS been blazing hot here and I can understand why they would prefer to hide out in the cool area of the crawl space.
Two days ago I came out of the house and smelled something that was really bad. Like REALLY BAD. I thought for a second and realized that maybe the litter was bigger than the three kittehs and maybe there had been some that did not make it.
I felt badly and steeled myself to go under the house and search out the cause of the odor..I was working my way thru my courage and a can on the patio that I use to collect my cans that go to be recycled. I moved the can away from the wall and the smell hit me like a wall....I thoughy "OH NO,the poor thing got in here somehow and died.....":o:(
As I dug thru the can the smell got stronger and stronger.......
I found a plastic bag inside and saw that it was....
Shrimp shells!:o:rolleyes::mad:
I had a bag of shrimp shells that I was taking out to the trash when I stopped to play with the other kittehs, I forgot the bag, which fell into the receptacle and began to 'ferment'.
I was so happy that it was the danged shrimp and not a kitteh that I was beside myself.
I stopped and thought to myself....
"I am laughing over a found bag of rotting shrimp shells."
I wish life's problems were always that simple to correct?:D
I was reading your post with dread, Richard. When you got to the part of the shrimp shells, I laughed so hard in relief I almost fell off the chair. Good luck with the kitties. They ARE easy to fall in love with, aren't they?
Lyk?
I GOT ME SOME LITTLE KITTEH THIS MORNING!
THey were out playing on the patio so I snuck up behind the black kitteh and managed to grab him and give it some scritches. The kitteh was not pleased with that, but I said "I love you" and was forgiven immediately.
I think.
Did I just type that?:eek::o:D
