I'm hoping that if I just sit here and think really hard about what OTHER people are eating that a miracle will occur and dinner will fix itself...

You wouldn't want mine. It was a lazy junk food night. Hot dogs, mac and cheese, and an ice cream cone for dessert. How's that for a nutritious meal??????:p
And I don't even like hot dogs or mac and cheese. Oh well - it filled up an empty spot! :D
Maybe I'll have some of that cantaloupe in the fridge now................
my kids would be in heaven:D
Bubba Burgers and Pringles, washed down with a Coke:cool:
I had leftover pizza and some Edy's Drumstick ice cream. VERY stressful day today!
Pomtzu if I could have a hot dog with mac and cheese I would be in heaven. Had meat loaf, mashed potatoes with broccoli. Frozen yogurt for dessert which is as close to ice cream that I'll ever get. I did have a slice of plain old watermelon though, nothing fancy like that giant melon you had. I would kill for junk food....hamburger, french fries , a pepsi and a sundae, now there's my idea of a great meal...in my dreams...
A small grilled fillet steak, with lots of vegies, broccoli, carrots, potato, kumara, peas. i am hungry just thinking about it, hubby will have some leftover pasta and chicken as well.,got to fatten that man up lol.
I made corn dog casserole last night for dinner, and ate it for lunch today.

Baked flounder fillets and oven fries - a lot better than last night's dinner.
Woo-hoo! It's actually cool enough to turn the a.c. off (first since June), and use the oven again. I don't do ovens in hot weather even with the a.c. on. :(
At my house tonight we had spaghetti, garlic bread and a salad.
Grilled cheese with a slice of tomato in it. Yummm! Lazy cooking night for me!
Last night we ended up having chocolate chip pancakes. Tonight we had Pizza Hut:D
Chili Dogs!!!!!
Well, just chili for me and my bro but everyone else had the chili dogs. :D
I'm starting my clear fluids diet tonight and all day tomorrow.
Preparing for a colonoscopy on Thursday....and yes, I'll be home all day Wednesday :o
Made meatloaf, peas and rice for last night's dinner. The weather has been nice and cool which has me thinking about soups, chili or chowder for tonight:)
The fair is in town so I plan on having a dozen or so funnel cakes for dinner. :) Yumm!
powdered sugar is the only way to go!
I made a whole bunch of grilled chicken yesterday, but I wasn't too hungry today and opted for nachos and hot salsa and a glass or 2 of wine! I can live on salsa!
What in the world are funnel cakes----I feel like I'm really missing something.
*faint*
They are deep fried confections served at nearly every carnival, fair, and theme park in the USA. They are decadent!

Oh my goodness!! Funnel cakes are one of the WORST things for you, and one of the BEST tasting. Every culture has a version. They're fried dough - strands of fried dough made into a wonderful concoction! :)
Funnel cakes for dinner?
Im not even diabetic but that would sugar shock me.
Dang now I am craving a funnel cake!!!
I'm sorry for giving a few of you a craving for funnel cakes! I would gladly send you all some... I just couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't have a few bites taken out of it. ;)
Oh, and I hardly ate a dozen of them. I would have exploded if I lived up to that idea.
since i'm eating solo tonight, well human solo, i'm sure i'll have feline and canine company:D as i eat. i'm trying a few new things, i'm making inca red quinoa ( a high protein grain), oven baked talipia with tomato cream sauce (a lot was left over from last nights dinner, and green beans. so what are you having/had for dinner tonight?
I made halushkies; fried cabbage, onion and dumplings. Lo cal, of course. ;)
Leftover roast chicken in a sandwich, strawberry jello, and pecan shortbread cookies. Washed it all down with half a can of Pepsi.
