Ralph, sweetheart, eating ribbon is NOT good for you! You are lucky you survived. My cat ate part of a plastic shower "scrubbie" and I never even knew it until it came out the other end. Stick to cat food; much better for you and your digestion!

HEY RALPHIE BOY!!!! This ribbon eating MUST be a Ralph thing, because OUR Ralph did the same thing. However, it did not require surgery to remove the ribbon, we were lucky, he pooped it out!!! I gave you a BIG kiss as you requested!!! HAPPY COTD!!!!

Hi everyone,
I'm Rachael, Ralph's mom. Thank you for all your nice comments. The profile I sent in to this site was done in February 2007. I am grateful he was finally picked. Unfortunately, he died on December 21, 2008 at the age of 3 1/2 years. He died very suddenly from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. I did not even know he had it as he never showed any symptoms. My heart broke that day and life has never been the same. I still have my other two cats and a puppy but there is still a void that can never be filled. He was very special to me and was way too young to be taken. Thank you all for reading about him. I hope to be reunited with him someday.
