please welcome this beautiful baby..pics, warning cuteness overload...

My good friend Jane was out at our big furniture shop on the outskirts of the city purchasing a new bed, she had her two dogs with her and hubby of course.

There is a big piece of land beside the furniture store,and one of the dogs was barking furiously, so she went to investigate and what did she find, the most gorgeous wee kitten, she looked everywhere for further siblings or the mother, there were none in site and judging by how well covered this baby is, we suspect it was the only one left and was being well looked after, she hesitated, wondering what to do ,but decided it was for the best to take the baby home, as it would just become a starving feral,and yes she is going to keep it.

Jane lives in a lovely lifestyle block, with her hens,dogs and three other cats, and this baby is going to have a wonderful life ahead of it.



Now at first she thought baby was a boy, and called him Harvey, the furniture store is called Harvey Norman, but when i visited today, we both thought baby was a girl, and she will be called Meadow, as that is where she was found.

I had a wonderful time playing with her as you can see,she is doing extremely well, and is much loved,so what do you all think of Harvey/Meadow?

I know what i think he/she is simply gorgeous.:):):love: any ideas on how old baby might be, we are thinking maybe 5-6wks, the last two pics baby had just had a feed and was ready for a big sleep.

What do I think of Meadow? Is that the question? OMG, she's adorable! :love:

She is beautiful, Carole and so are you!!! She looks to be about maybe 6-7 weeks old. I'm glad she was found and will now have a great home.

Kitten is adorable. S/he should be forever grateful to the dog for finding her/him.

Aaaww- she looks really tiny. I don't think she would have survived on her own.

I think all baby animals are adorable, but there's absolutely nothing cuter than a kitten. :love:

I think Meadow is a great name - be it a he or a she.

Meadow is a lovely name. Kitten is a beauty, how nice it was found, and will have a great home!

I thought you would all love seeing Meadow, i found it hard to leave and go home, just wanted to cuddle and cuddle baby and play with her all day long, i think she is more a silver grey tabby,than a brown one, but whatever she is beautiful and doing very well, she has a few hissy fits, but then everything is so new to her, but she is adapting so quickly.:)

KLONK! That was me falling out of the chair due to tabby kitten cuteness! Meadow, you are precious! I agree with Momcat's wish for you, one hundred percent.

I now officially have kitten fever! What a doll!!!

Very cute kitteh, I think Erp was smaller when she showed up here. Meadow deffinently gives me kitteh envy.

ok well Meadow is officially a BOY, and is now Harvey, he went for his vet visit, and checks out well, Donna you were spot on , he is about 6-7 wks old,full of fleas,but now all treated,he is doing very well ,and as playful as can be, i know he is the cutest lil kitty ever isn't he?, he will have to get used to the other cats, Cindy who is 16 yrs old, Tosca who is about 12-14, and scooter about six years i think, and the two dogs Taz and old duke who loves kitties, Taz is Jane's daughter's dog and only resides there now and then.,but i am sure he will fit in well, and love his new home.:)believe me when i say he is in very good hands and will be loved and treasured to bits.:love:

Fleas and ticks make me shudder, Ill stick to cold climates.

well blue it is the middle of winter here, but the fleas are still around even then, anyhow he all good now.:)

I just had to come by for another look at darling little Harvey. What a sweet little purrball! Do you think his new Meowmie will let you continue to get pictures of him so all of us here can watch him grow? Better yet, could I ask you to extend my invitation to join PT to her? I'm confident that our PT friends would welcome her and bug her for more pictures.

Momcat i am certain we can get more pics as Harvey grows, Jane and i are good friends, i don't think she will join PT though, she just is too busy.

Yes he is a wee cutie all right, and i talked with her today,she said he is such fun, does lovely little forward rolls when playing and is enjoying his new life 100 per cent, she is having a problem with her other kitties though, with spraying, but she does not think it is because of Harvey ,more another cat in the neighbour hood, so she is off to get some feliway.
