What would your cat's occupation be?

I was talking on the phone w/someone yesterday and he asked about my Maine Coon cat, Specs. I said "Oh, he's fine, no health problems but he's still a punk because he won't leave Boo alone". We both laughed and he said "He picks on Boo because he's jealous for your attention. I just remember him as being such a schmoozer. If he was human, he'd be a carnie". And it's so true! This cat can charm the leaves right off the trees. So my cat Specs is a carnie. I'll have to think about the rest of the Fur Posse as to their occupations but what would your cat be? :p

Bobcat and I discussed this subject just this morning.

We decided that Pepper would either be a stuntwoman or an inspector (just ask the guys who came to service the furnace on Friday). She has to know everything that is going on.

Cammie would be a security guard. Just one look from her would deter the most hardened criminal.

We decided that Willy is unemployable. He would be that kid that lived in his parent's basement and staying up all night, sleeping until afternoon, mooching his life away. :p

Willow would be a Nanny or a model. She is a caretaker and nurturer, but she's so gorgeous.

Halo would run a pest control business. :p We took her to our cabin once and she tried to slaughter every mouse, vole and squirrel she saw.

Toby: a grumpy supervisor. He likes to quietly ovserve everything that is going on around him and if Havoc is bugging him he'll not hesitate to jump his case.

Havoc: a human toddler. Not a "job" per say but he's always wandering around and will entertain himself with anything that grabs his attention.

What a fun thing to think about! Since Groucho loves to study with Soncat and check out the newspapers with me he just might be a real lawyer. One of my favorite after work things is when Groucho curls up with me to watch Judge Judy. He listens and watches very intently then will sometimes offer his opinion on some of her decisions.

Hmmm....I guess Archy would be a little Ambassador. He is right there whenever anyone comes to visit, and he delights in showing off (trilling, showing off his belly, lots of ankle-rubbing) and showering attention on the visitor until they acknowledge him.

Binky isn't suited to many occupations. He's too shy, always hiding, suspicious of everyone. Guess he might make a good undercover spy. He probably fits the "son in the basement" role, also!:D

Rascal would be a horticulurist. I have never seen a cat that loves flowers and plants so much. He head butts every plant in the house several times a day. If you watch him in the yard he will walk from plant to plant giving head butts. We have one tall vase that he has dumped several times because he gets carried away loving whatever flower happens to be the in it.:)

Well I can see My Princess the Purrfect :love:, Michael the Dream Cat:love: and Handsome John Hancock as greetes in Las Vegas seeing that everyone is happy and has beenm taken care of!!!
Juke Joint Joseph :love: would be selling out night clubs at his shows, SRO would be an every day occurance!!!:D
Sensational Scrappy 2 :love:would be a food taster at the best bistros , she always curious at everything that comes out of the oven or taht Aunt Janice brings in.
Miquelito the Little Orange Lion :love:and Poucierge the Precious:love: could have thier won Show on Nickleodeon for Young People, they are so lively and funny!!!
And Tubster Panther :love:would be a great mascot for the NFLs Carolina Panthers!!! Just the Purrfect Job!!!:love:

Filou is a comedian- like Buster Keaton: always funny and never smiling.
Tigris would be King Artus - or his best knight.

Erp would be an exterminator. She is an even better mouser then my RB barn cats where.

Allen: Sumo wrestler... not just because of his size, but because he likes to wrestle! :p

Pouncer: Politician. He's friends with everyone and peace maker on many occasions. He was the first to have a peace treaty with Callie :)

Harry: Food critic!

Abby: Fashion model. She poses and demands nothing but the best of everything.

Flutter: Gossip columnist. She is always in the thick of anything happening and likes ot tell us about it. Then runs away when you go after her.

Jack - Housekeeper (his big puffy tail has a mind of it's own and freqently wipes out stuff on endtables)

Bear - Bully (who will run at first sign of anything strange)

Pooky - Hippy (he's soooo laid back)

Cami - Security Guard (she's always monitoring the windows for tresspassing critters in the yard)

Sabrina - Bread Maker (she loves to make busquits on your belly)

Sassy - Wally's World People Greeter (she's never met any new person she didn't like, kinda weird for a tortie)

Josh - Sous Chef (always supervises anything going on in the kitchen)

If Dusty were still alive she'd have been an inspector (loved to go into dusty cubyholes, hence her name)

Hmmm. This is an interesting question. I think my orangeman, Macgyver, would work in a world famous Think Tank. He is always thinking and observing the world. He likes to come up with solutions to problems, such as, "how do I get the cabinet door open to get at some cat food?"

My Ming would be a professional model. He is a Traditional Siamese and gorgeous!

Ed would be a scientist's assistant-in a sleep lab!

Hoodini is exactly that...an ESCAPE artist! He is currently outside and not really being good about coming in :(

Remus is an ambasador, who doubles as a food critic lol

Spook is another security guard...she always has to be at the window or the door if there is any odd noises.

My Creamsicle would be a Walmart greeter. She greets everyone always.

Coco Puff would be a professional gigolo. He's so handsome and he knows how to strut his stuff. I can hear it now: Lady: What's your name, handsome? Coco Puff: Raoul Boop!

Boo would be a magician and escape artist. He hides all the time and I panic when I can't find him. He's jet black so I can't see him in the dark. And he's still occasionally darts outside at his ripe ol' age.

Yodie would be a runner. She can run like greased lightning.

Pidgelet would be a spy. She's so quiet and unobtrusive; she observes and stays out of the way. And she doesn't get attached to anyone. (except her man, Boo. And possibly me.)

Smudge would probably be a diplomat, since he can talk me into anything. "But cats hate olives!" "But there's no harm in letting me smell one, is there?" (in purr-speak and adorable big-eyed looks)

Well, Dude (Gabriel) would be a Hoover vacuum cleaner salesman because he loves to show you how he can suck up any food or treats you put before him just like a vacuum (sometimes I swear I hear the vvvrrrmmmm as he eats).

Gracie would be a comedian, you just have to watch her antics and you would see why. She gets so excited about things going on around that she runs into everything. She needs a little crash helmet.

Abner and Vegas both could be telemarketer's, but telemarketers in a nice way because they both just talk, talk, talk, talk. :D

Mystic would be a food inspector...she just loves food.

Smokey would be unemployeed....all he does is sleep and eat all day (hey he's an old man, give him a break) ;)

Scarlet would be in the medical profession, she is always right by your side when you are not feeling well.

Reese would be a Mother Superior. She rules the place with an iron paw. She knows where everyone is - what they are doing - and is the first to inspect anything new that enters, be it human or not. If she doesn't approve it - it ain't gonna happen.

Grady is a garbage collector - he cleans out all the dishes - brings in leaves and stuff from outdoors.

BART - official couch potato, MIT'S & LUCKY - house inspectors, PRECIOUS - lap warmer, PRINCESS - house mom, PENNY - mattress inspector, PEAK - pillow tester, LENNY - kitchen monitor, DEMETRI - hall monitor and speed check., CHESSIE - alarm clock

Catulus would be a soap opera actor. He's gregarious, very confident of his good looks and charm, and a total schmooze.

Darcy, his brother, would be a computer geek. He's rather shy, smart, and likes to play quietly by himself.

Cordelia would be a model. She is super confident, demanding, and gorgeous.

Belle would be a nurse or nanny. She is very nurturing and cats always cuddle up to her when they need a snuggle.

Surya would be a Special Olymics Ultimate Wrestler. That cat may have deformed front legs but he knows how to use them to pin another cat down and then bite them hard.

Luke would be a teacher. He is unflappable and copes with younger cats really well; they love him.

Challenge would be a gourmet chef. He loves to eat and samples everything that looks like food.

Taranis would be a CEO. She's tough, mean, smart and likes the best things in life.

Maeve would be a writer. She's quiet, sensitive, and often lost in her own world.

Daisyboy would be a social worker. He loves other cats and he knows what it's like to be abused.

Diego would be a doctor. He loves nothing better than to groom and care for other cats, and has suffered so much pain in his life that he would want to help others heal.

Raven would be the bum under a bridge. That cat has no social graces and isn't interested in acquiring any.

Alexander (who didn't come to me until he was 18 years old) would be a professional grandfather, content to watch the younger ones playing while he reclines in a very cosy armchair.

Miss Z. would be a Special Olympics sprinter. Once my CH cat gets moving, nothing can stop her, not even cats twice her size.

Sidney would be an investigative reporter. She is fascinated by other cats, though doesn't like to get too cosy with them, and watches everything carefully with her sapphire eyes.

I´ve had so much fun reading these.... and even if i don´t personally know your kitties.. I so imagine them being like that.. haha
