Very, NICE!
That's a great looking car, Kay. I'm not good with identifying cars so.....please tell me what it is. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!:D
You had me going for a second there...I was thinking so thats where she's been :D
Definetely a cool car, congratulations!
1976 Ford Maverick.
My dream car is an old Mustang, but those are far too pricey is nice shape like this, so I had to go with her. I can't say I'm disappointed. She's beautiful.
I'm thinking about naming her Gladys.
I was 15 when that car was manufactured...now thats an old car!
It looks like it is pretty cherry. You need to put some air shocks in it and hike up the rear.
My Granny C had a mavrick, cept I think she had a 4 door.
Edit: Granny Mo had a early 70's Mustang fast back.
My Fave Color (this year)! I can picture you driving it too! She's a beaute..an as *they* say "Miles of Smiles". You go Gladys!
I'm jealous! That car is amazing :D
Nice ride! :D
Its really in good shape. Is everything original?
She's a beauty, all right! And I had a lovely Great Aunt named Gladys, I approve of the name!
Oh my goodness, she is gorgeous Kay . Congrats, here's to many adventures :D.
I am still trying to con my Mum into buying (partially) me my Mustang lol.. one day i shall have one.
Beautiful, I love it! We were born in the same year! :D
She's Gorgeous!
Does this mean you can make road trips now?! :p
Sweet! Gladys is gorgeous :D Congratulations Kay :)
I love the name!!!-:D
Congratulations. You just don't see them on the road anymore! My very first brand new (not used) car was a 1969 Maverick - also green! :)
Wow, that is one hot ride. I also love the rims.:)
that is one sweet ride!!... very nice.. love the color!!... congrats :)
My dad had a maverick! It was a beige-ish sandy color.
I loved that car. Of course I was only about 5 when he had it, but still....
Someone has put a lot of work into either keeping up yours or reconditioning her. She's beautiful!
Wow, what a cool car, Kay!
VERY COOL! It's in awesome condition.
Congratulations! I guess you got your drivers license!!? :)
The minute I saw the car, my mind said Maverick. But it also said no they aren't around anymore. So I was shocked when you said that is what it is. My first car was in 1970 was a 1970 Maverick blue in color - it had been used as a demo so it was considered used but it was just like new. I am sure I paid considerably less than you did - well, maybe. But I was ever so proud of buying my first car on my own right after I got out of high school. I don't think I will ever forget that car or the pride of ownership.
I hope you have a lot of great times in your Maverick. Love the color!
thats one sharp car!
Kay,
That is a beautiful car!!!!!
Congrats!
Ooooo - WHEEE! Nice!
Mmmm that's so auto-erotic I think I had a car-gasm ;) (can I say that here?) :D
That sure is a Florida car! No rust from road salt, or anything! My first car was a light blue 1974 Maverick with maroon primer, sky blue paint on the fenders, a brown driver's side door, and a black, flaking roof.
Congratulations Kay. She is beautiful. So are you really going to allow the dogs in her? :)
that's a beauty....very nice....now gotta ask....is the insurance cost as high as the moon or just the orbiting weather satellites? and since it's soooo sweet, are you parking at the far end of the lot so no dings, and the drooling herds can admire without getting run over?
If you're ever near Memphis I want a ride! I'll take you for a spin in our '52 Jeep as a trade.
Wow, great looking Maverick, Kay! Congrats on the ride :)
That's a beautiful piece of macherinary. Lets trade, I've got a smoking hot white minivan :)
I bet her engine sounds like a dream when she's started up!
Detroit Muscle. Congrats Kay! She's a beaut. :D
