It is so cold in here - where is everyone? Guess I need to stoke the fire by myself. Should I make coffee first? I think I had better - my fingers are cold.

Sleighbells ring, are you listening ...
Don't worry, I'm not going to sing. :p I'll get the coffee on so we can warm our hands on the mugs. Don't the trees look pretty with the white branches?
:) Branchs are all still very brown here in Tx.. Come in Orc with that wood for the fire.. Any one for Hot Chocolate with Mellows?? No No Orc not yet not yet.. Oh yes everyone duck Orc has the bag of mellows & throwing them..:D
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire .....
Some hot cocoa with whipped cream and extra marshmallows would be REALLY good right about now. That's mallow, not mellow, unless you're smoking something and if you are, will you share? :p
Hot chocolate with 'mallows (if Orc didn't throw all of them away!) will be pefect on a cold, wet, and miserable like there is here in Pittsburgh. If Orc doesn't behave, I'll have to dust off his remote to use on him. He does build a cozy fire, though!
I could use some hot cider about now, and some SNOW! Darn it! All we've got in Allentown, PA is rain!!!!
Virtual snow?? :p ;)
I'll start "decking the halls"...
No snow here. The temp went up to 49 and melted what we had, then it rained. Now it's cold again so I just got everything ready to light a fire. A friend is coming over this evening and we're going to enjoy some hot chocolate and then wine and cheese and fruit while we catch up on what's been happening in our lives. Anyone care to join us?
The weather here has been VILE for the last two days. I'll have an Irish coffee, please.
Sorry everyone. Here in northern California, it's sunny and 70's  Not very Christmas-like and we know it won't last. Rain is supposedly coming in to ruin the weekend Xmas shopping
We are supposed to get snow later on tomorrow and maybe Saturday. Mind you I think the forecast is calling for about 2-3 inches, but hey, that's alot for us on the Wet Coast.
I'll stoke up the fire. Hey who's bartending??? I could use a hot toddy...and heavy on the toddy....perhaps with bulging muscles and..and...
Ooh! Is Toddy here? Slick, will you share? :D
Here's OUR jolly local forecast (degrees F in brackets)
I'm hogging the hot cider. YIKES!Quote:

Lime soda for me thanks, and a round of catnip tea for my crew. Through all this stress they have been good kitties.
Catty, you DO live in Cat-ada...you're surprised it's COLD??:p;) Enjoy your cider, and stay warm!
Hee hee! The forecast has changed - we are getting 10 cm of snow today instead of 2 - 4 - almost 4 inches!
Actually, STE, I am glad to see a cold winter, anything that resembles a normal climate! I just hope we hoomins can change things back to healthy on this planet.
...more cider, please.... :D Thanks!
It sounds like the Boston area isn't having too much fun with their Winter Wonderland today.
How fortunate we can just duck into the bar and have hot chocolate with "mallows" and sit by a warm fire.
TGIF - no truer words have ever been spoken. Come on weekend!!
It finally quit raining but we didn't have any ice, thank goodness!
LOLOLOL,
That's all you think about.....
Cloudy periods, inches, Cold and hot flashes, toddys, muscles, roasting nuts, blowing snow and decking the halls.
I swear....I am not going to comment on stoking the fire.:D;)
You all are some of the best people I know!
It's way too much fun to be hanging out with all of you!
Give me one more day and I'll be back on bar duty?:D
RICHARD, the "inches" idea did cross my mind...but trust me, in Canada here, 4 inches is MORE than enough right now! :D:o:D
One more day, whenever is good dude!:)
Stopping in after work...the snow did not fall, rather this mystery substance that resembled frozen rain but a lot BIGGER  fell from the sky. I need a warm fire and a warm drink, any one will do. I could use some hot wings too...yumm!
I hereby declare an open bar.
I need it!
DONE!:D:D
Excellent - it's cold out, so a nice big mug of something warm, your choice! It's "temperatures in the single digits, with the wind chill" tonight, but will be back into the forties tomorrow!
Let me 'mull' this over?
DONE!
And thoughts going out to the people who have been hit by the ice storm.
That sucks!:(
Anyone here? I am hungry! Keeping warm takes a lot of energy lol.
Im thinking...beef barely soup?
Wow, in real life beef barley soup and garlic bread would make me dreadfully sick, but it sounds yummy here! Sign me up!
LOL. I have to tease you, your football team is better than mine!
I am making 7&7's anyone?:D
I'll take one of those 7 & 7s please! (and give me a little extra 7)
