There is nothing like cat love. I go through this every evening when I get home. When I walk in Lucky is waiting on the arm of my chair, rule #1 pick up Lucky and give/get hug. Sit down and get marked. Next Dimetri (tri-pod) has to say hello by climbing up leg, purr so that the neighbors can hear. Then Roz will come in for a quick hello, by this time Bart and Mits are awake. Bart will sit on my lap get petted then move to the opposite arm from Lucky. Mits my main boy now comes in and sits on lap with paws around my neck. Kisses and hugs are in order. This all takes about 20 minutes. Then I watch Jeopardy, Mits will go back to the bed room, Roz will bounce off the walls some where. Dimetri will chase Roz, Bart will move back to my lap, and Lucky will plaster himself against my shoulder as we watch the show. During the show Peak will come in too say hello, LB stops by. About half way through the show my wife gets home. now Peak and Roz have to be there, Lenny and/or Bailey will come in just too see what’s up. Then Chessie and Princess will go too my wife, Chessie is her boy, once Princess says hello too my wife she will come by me for a couple of minutes. By this time Jeopardy is over and we start too make dinner. Last night I wanted too watch a movie. I ended up with Mits tucked along side me on the chair, Bart on my lap, Lucky against my shoulder and Dimetri on my chest with Roz sitting on the arm of the chair opposite Lucky. With almost 60 pounds of cat trying too sit with you it does wonders for the back.

There is nothing more heartwarming to me that to see a grown man showing his affection for a fur kid. AAWWWW :)

My husband may be a "closet" cat hugger, but the most the kids get from dad is a quick pat on the head. I think you can tell an awful lot about a man who isn't afraid to cuddle with his cat! Gill, you and Katie's husband are jewels for sure.

I hate to say it, but once I dated a guy who told me how he treated his ex-wife's Siamese (I will not elaborate), but that did it for me. The attraction was GONE and so was he.:mad:

Soncat is great with Groucho. I love to see them play together, they even watch football games together! Groucho snuggles up with him and Soncat will pet him and give him non stop lovies.
Soncat always says, "You can know how someone will treat people by the way they treat animals."

I am glad you all got a smile from it. It really was sweet! Rickie claims to not be a "cat person"... But, he loves all of ours, minus 3:rolleyes: Those he could do without.
And I catch him sneaking in lovies to ALL of them, everyday pretty much!
He has no shame with Hannah and Puff, those are his soul kitties, and he tells EVERYONE about them;) Rickie and I share that bond, we are in love with H&P, and they are our soulmates, minus each other!:D
I agree - there's nothing like a man with a cat :D Those pictures are precious! Eve and her daddy have daily snuggle fests - she waits for him in his chair in the evening and cuddles right in for the long haul. During the night she cuddles with mommy :D she's all about balance and equality :love:
