Introducing Cali and Joseph

Hi everyone,

I would like to introduce the newest furry members of my household ... Cali and Joseph. Before we get to the photos there is a little bit of a story behind their adoptions. Earlier this year Melissa (dolittleky) helped me to "fail at fostering" and I adopted a young kitten named Chrissy. She was blind in both eyes, but other than that was fine. She fit into the household with only one problem. Because she was so young she wanted to play all the time and was constanting bugging the other cats to play. They were tolerant (up to a point). Kind of like when you were a kid and your younger borther/sister wanted to tag along with you all the time :rolleyes:

I finally decided that I needed to get some A cat Chrissy's age and because she was blind I was also looking for one about her ability. (Yes everyone has teased me about that.) Well I found both Cali and Joseph through petfinder.com. At first I was only going to take one of them, but as you might have guessed I have little will power in this area, so I ended up with two young cats.

Joseph is blind in both eyes from an untreated infection when he was very young and Cali was born blind in one eye, but the other eye works just fine.

The three of them do really well together and there is much more peace between cats, because the older ones can now sleep in peace and the younger ones always have a buddy to play with.

Do they both look alike or is that only one of them? Also please psot a pic of Chrissytoo. I would love to see what she looks like now.

My, what a happy household and such cutie pies, too! I'm partial to calicos but Joseph is a little fuzz nugget! Everyone is beautiful and looks so happy and content. What a great cat mom you are! :love:

Oh my!!! That Joseph is adorable! He reminds me of little Decker at that age. Cali is a pretty girl, how old is she?

Joseph is a little doll! I thought at first he was brown but see in other pictures he is a grey boy.. Cali is LOVELY! I love her color and markings. Can't wait to see more of them and hear how they are doing... Now, everyone has someone to play with.... Goody! Goody!

Sorry Sarah, but Joseph has his furrever home here. He is a little love muffin at night he has decided that he wants to sleep draped over my neck, so I know have a live-in neckwarmer :D

The three of them like to play "herd of elephants" chasing each other around the house. Which if you think about the fact that they are all blind, is pretty funny ;)

Joseph is irresistable in that first photo, and Cali has such beautiful markings. I can imagine how soft Oliver's coat is. It's good to see how well they get along. :)

What a heart warming story! I think it is so awesome that you have taken in these beautiful kitties with disabilities that might have been overlooked by other people. I love that they race around together when they can't see! That is truly amazing. :)
