Mom came home yesterday and she is doing well.
SHe said that she was pleased to be home. I was up late this morning and spoke to her for a bit, We watched some TV and spoke for a little while.
She went back to sleep and I left her alone.
She will have someone come in and do some home care-we have to settle on a schedule for that and hope that things will continue to go smoothly.
THanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.

woo hoo! now, since i saw your post about the fires, i gotta ask, is there any smokiness that she/you/the edster will be exposed to? (hopefully not) and here's praying for a fast recovery
That's great news, Richard! :) I hope your mom will continue to get better! Now you just gotta organise it so things go smothly.
The only time it's bad is when the wind picks up in the A.M. and P.M. Otherwise it's not for long. On Sunday you could almost taste the smoke....it gets better as the fires burn away from the area.Quote:

Wow, I was just about to PM you to ask how your mom was doing. Great news, Richard. She'll do much better at home and it should be easier on you, too. Prayers continuing that she'll get better and better....

just thought of this....since the edster likes blankets, how is he about being a lapcat when your mom is sitting in the recliner or napping under a blanket? when i got home from the hospital last december, i had to sleep under pillows to keep the cats off my suture covered stomach/chest.

She's doing pretty well, thank you for asking!
There is a little truce in the house and we are all pitching in to help her out.
I wish she was more mobile, even she said she is tired of being in bed, but things could be worse. Again, thanks to all who sent cards, prayers, well wishes and just plain thought about her.
She is looking forward to the card exchange!
