What makes it even better is that the other two highest achievers are two of my best friends. We had a photo together with our results statements which, when the teacher gets it developed, I'm going to keep in a frame.
I may have lost out on a lot of time on Pet Talk preparing for these exams, but at least it paid off!

Once again, everyone, thank you so much! :D
I officially finished senior school in mid-May, then my exams lasted from about that point to mid-June. Since then, I've been on my summer break. :) I don't know why the results have to be announced so near to the end of the holidays - I suppose it must take a while for every 5th year student in the country to have their results totted up and compared to the rest of the country!Quote:

It's amazing how many people ask you about your GCSEs, from neighbours to shop assistants to the people on the NHS helpline. :p It's great to be able to say I got 10 A*s!
I also bought my business suit for Sixth Form today - well, make that suits, I couldn't quite decide between two, so, I got them both. :D As well as that I'd previously bought two pairs of shoes and three shirts - now I just need handbag(s!) and I'll be all set!
