Thought it would be a fun thread! Can you tell I am ready for breakfast:p
Mine is fried onion. Like the bloomin onion, awesome blossom, cactus loaf, or onion loaf they serve at steakhouses.
A very close second is tuna sushi. YUM!

My favourite food seems to change all the time, but I am very fond of Chinese food, especially stir fry. It's so quick and easy to make, and you can make it as healthy (or unhealthy :p) as you want it. A close second though are spicy Indian curries - I've inherited my dad's 'iron mouth' and can eat quite a few hot dishes just fine whilst other people are fanning their tongues and spooning gallons of yoghurt into their mouths. :p
i love to cook. italian food is my favorite & i have the italian figure to show for it. 2nd favorite is indian. but having lived in london half my life there are some foods i really miss, things i remember from my youth in brooklyn. its impossible to get a real new york bagel here & there are no fudgsicles here either. english food is boring. eva, mrs cat
CHOCOLATE!
I love anything Italian or Indian.
Chicken Parm. ;)
I have to say that I LOVE the Outback Steakhouse's blue cheese crusted filet.
YUM-O!!
I love cheese crisps (quesadilla) and also love refried beans. I used to live in Tucson and this is a common snack there.
As a meal, my all time fav is turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy (lots of it), stuffing, squash, green beans. The works. :)
Pizza is always good, even cold in the morning. ;) But I like it with ranch dressing to dip it in.
I have so many!
Melon. Key lime pie. Spinach and mandarin orange salad. Fettucine Alfredo. Lone Star Steakhouse's Amarillo French fries - the ones with cheese and bacon... so not good for me but I love them! Those little bitty Dove bars - they're about three bites but good when I have an ice cream craving. Corn on the cob. A mango. Beef Wellington or beef Stroganoff.
Ice cream!!!! All flavors! :)
Seafood - any kind!!!
So hard to choose just one, but I'll say Filet Mignon. ( med/well) :)
Mexican food.
My sweet tooth side is CHOCOLATE and ICE CREAM.
and i love Chicken.
I love a good steak on occasion, but my favorite is Tex Mex.....good ole' enchiladas with refried bean and rice!!
That is so very difficult to answer. I love hot open face turkey sandwiches, sushi when it's fresh, and sausage egg and cheese biscuits the most.
For sweet treats - I love three musketeer candy bars. :) or anything chocolate! Ice cream of course any kind. :)
For real foods - Chicken (any way), salads (I am on a kick now with caesar salads, love them!), cucumbers and baby carrots but they have to be in ranch dressing! corn on the cob is good, I love strawberries, grapes (green) and watermelon. :) I also loved any BBQ'd foods in the summer. :D oh and I LOVE Pizza especially Pizza Hut's pizza. :)
I love any kind of Italian food and I also love almost any kind of dessert.:) I have a huge sweet tooth that I inherited from my mom.;)
Two words...
Fried Squash.
Yummy. :]
Ice-cream.
I really will scream for ice-cream.
It really varies, day to day. Chocolate, ice cream, fruit that I am not allergic to, coffee ring, cookies, cheese ...
Oh I forgot cheese thanks Karen. ;) I LOVE cheese! :D especially cheddar, colby jack, and provolone. :)
Also, just about anything fried....except calimari....my husband and my son love that! UGH!! I love fried pickles!!!!!
Pizza and ice-cream :D
There is a Tex-Mex restaurant in the Houston area called Casa Ole. Their food is my favorite food. Not just cause I only get to eat it every other year... I grew up on it, it's "home" and comfort food to me.
I love it and could eat it every day.
Good Old homemade mexican food will always win me over!! I Love mexican food!!!!
LOL,
TOMATOES/salads.......
-------
Here's a problem I have always had when dealing with Mex food.
I grew up on Mexican food. When I have been out with my guy friends and we go to a place where "They make the BEST Mexican food", They ask me if it was good and I don't know what to say.
I can't compare it to what I have had and anything that wasn't cooked by Mom isn't up to par! I hate being a snob!:eek:
Oatmeal.
Oy, this is tough.
If I could have any breakfast food, it would be Cream Chipped Beef on toast and Homefries w/ cheese and gray on top (diner food).
If it's munchies, I could eat a bag of Bachman's Cheese Curls, called JAX (it's the only cheese curl that doesn't make me sick to my stomach).
When I'm at a restaurant that I'm not familiar with, and can't choose, I ALWAYS pick Chicken Parm, lol. It's my old standby, and I love chicken parm!
I love seafood, but especially Oysters. Yummmm!!!
Love almost any fruit I can find, especially melons. Those to me are dessert! If it's not summer, or fruit time, I love home made cheese cake or german chocolate cake!
Can't name just one!!
coffee, dark roast, and real half and half. i'm a coffee snob.;)
oh Richard... I totally understand you... Mexican food anywhere other than Mexico tastes sooooo different....the food is good but compared to one another is just plain dull it lacks the spicyness.. IMO...
my ultimate all-time fave food can be resumed in one word....
CHEESE !!!!!
I canīt live without it any day in any meal of my life.... food just wonīt taste right.. LOL...
Ice cream!!
According to my husband my favorite food is sugar!

chocolate
sliced roast beef
my grandma's raisin pie or peanut butter pie (that I haven't had since she passed away **cries**)
SUSHI
crab legs
chicken tenders at Texas Roadhouse
Zuppa Toscana soup from the Olive Garden is my favorite soup!
There is a Thai dish called Panang Duck Curry that I had once, and have not been able to figure out how to duplicate! Thai food in general is so delicious, especially anything made with coconut milk.
Olive Garden's fettucine alfredo is SOOOO yummy
But, then again, so is chocolate! :D
Anything of Japanese food...It is really the one cuisine that I can say I like(love) pretty much ALL they have.
I would love to go to japan and eat some real Japanese food.
ICE CREAM! Oh and of course Pizza Hut Pizzone...LOVE EM'
I forgot to add, anything chicken! When in doubt order the chicken tenders..;) LOL
I also like dunk-a-roos. Those vanilla cookies that you dunk in frosting. :) They are amazing but my mom doesn't buy them because they are fattening..:p
