What breed do you find prettiest?

I've always liked Border Collies (they kinda look like beautiful mutts to me), Dobermans (especially the redish ones when their ears are up), Bernese Mountain Dogs (love their jolly faces, shaggy fur, and coloring), Siberian Huskies (especially when they have blue eyes), labrador retrievers (such a happy go lucky family dog look), bull terriers, salukis, basset hounds, and many more.

Breeds I'm less of a fan of (just appearance wise) are labradoodles, certain terriers (only when it looks like they have a mustache big enough to get spaghetti caught in it), old english sheepdogs, boster terriers, bulldogs, etc.

I can't even begin to chose a favorite. ;)

Smooth Collies!! Just love the look.. love the roughs too, but prefer smooths...

I also love Aussies, Bernese Mountain Dogs, boxers, bull mastiffs!! Dobies... Tibetan Mastiffs...

And while I typically don't like dogs with furry/shaggy faces, I for some reason think German Wirehaired Pointers are beautiful!.. and cute!!..

There are a lot more too.. but these are the ones that popped into my head...lol

I just like dogs. I hope to have one some day.

Edited to say: I always love to see photos of Orangutango's Dance, but I am not sure what breed she is. I love her color and her little white feet!

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

I don't think there is anything as beautiful as a freshly groomed poodle, but of course no one here would expect me to say anything else. :p

no brainer there... for me it´s Huskies... but a pretty dog is on the eye of the beholder... I think ALL dogs are pretty... but Huskies being an all time fave where should I face.... Huskies of course!!..;)

Oh Pam.. just the other day I saw on a petedge catalog a drop dead gorgeous black standard Poodle...*drools*... THAT is another dog I want.. just like that one in there......

But there are so many other breeds (and mixed breeds) out there that are so pretty. All of the breeds named above I like. So for me this is an impossible question. :)

I think Great Pyreneses are gorgeous dogs!

I don't know what it is, but this breed is just to die for. I plan on having one when I get my own place.

I also like Tollers, Goldens (the ones with the big thick light colored coat), Bernese Mt. Dogs, St. Bernards, Wirehaired Pointing Griffons, Afghans, Salukis, Borzois... anything big and hairy! :p

I never met a dog that wasn't beautiful (in my eyes).

Of course I think my Logan is gorgeous (no justice in pictures when you run like a madwoman for safety from a camera).

But I will admit, Border Collies and Tollers (:love: Dance) make my heart sing with joy.

Needless to say huskies & chows are in my top pick, but the Rottweiler is my favorite:love:

Every dog I meet so far.....

I think all dogs are pretty when well taken care of. It makes me sad to see a dog mistreated because they really are such noble and loyal creatures and they dont ask for much out of life really.

I would have to say...them all. I believe they are all beautiful. I was known as the child and now adult who always was drawn to the "ugly mutt" that no one else wanted. If I had to chose what breeds attracted me most...

I would have to go along with a couple of others - all of them! Since most of mine are not purebred, I probably couldn't even pick a breed as such. Christy says I always choose a dog that is "different" looking. I am not sure what that means but I guess my standards are not most peoples.

I have to say that the coloring that I find the prettiest is blue merle.

I think it goes without saying that I like sighthounds. Of them, Borzoi have to be my absolute favorite. They really are the perfect dog for me. And they are just stunning to look at, too!

There all geogous!

I Love all dogs,there has not been one breed that i have not liked.
Now all dogs have different personalities and Character.

I have to say though i am really liking the Westies...Have seen a few lately and have fallen right in love,I like there size,Pesonality and just there way about things.
