I finally got pictures of our new addition,She will be ready to come home Sunday we are all very excited.

I like the name Macey! I prefer call names ending in "ie" or "y" as well. OF the 4 dogs I have currently Lacey is the only one I named. ;)
She is growing up, and looks so huggable!
LOL I'm just the opposite. I try to avoid at all costs the "ie" or "y" endings. Morgan, Madelyn, Lemon, Higgins, Jane, Aroara, Juliet, Jose and then the odd ball Sydney. We weren't sure if she was male or female for quite a long time. Plus I loved Alias! I like giving people names also.Quote:

I really like the name too,It might confuse poor Lacy But they all know there names and saying that there names all end in "y"And when i call them only they come.
We are all beside ourself...Wanting Saturday to be here yesterday,But gives us time to go get more puppy supplies,I was very impressed the breeder has them trained at just over 7 weeks they ask for the door to go outside.

A Newfie!!!! Newfie pups are some of the cutest!!! I like the name Macey.
My head is still spinning from a cuteness attack. I can't even register my brain to pick a name.
i saw a teeny elderly lady (around 80) walking her Newfie the other day. The Newfie was walking her ever so gently. It was awesome. Love those Newfs!
She's a cutie! I like the name Hannah a lot. :) Macey's cute, too.
Our old neighbors had a female Newfie named Blackie (the name was a little short on creativity). She was such a dear!

They are getting along great,No fights since.It really confuses me about the hole situation,They have been around eachother alot lately,except when we go away they are kept away from eachother.They are back to themselves again.Lacy is very protective over Rebecca,Rebecca was playing with Storm and Molly walked over to snoop out what was going on and that is what broke that fight out.Took Becca awhile to tell me the story she thought i would be upset with her,Which im not.Quote:

But all together they have been great.They do not take Becca as authority,I know that might seem odd but the girl does not discipline them in any way.
They all have there favorites though.Maggy and Lacy have always been like sisters,and Molly and Storm are buds.Funny how that works isnt it?

Ohhhhh she is just precious!!!!!! :D She just has the sweetest face, you just want to reach through the pic and give her all kinds of hugs and kisses....for what it is worth I love both names but Im partial to Hannah, I think it fits her sweetness.

Im sorry i have not updated this thread,We are not getting Hannah.The day we went to go get her,The breeder sprung on us that she wanted to have her in her breeding program.We wanted no part in co-owning her,We loved her but could not come to the terms of having to share her,Not only that her having to be gone to either be bred,or being at the breeders while having puppies.
We are so frustrated,We have tried and tried to add another to our home,I dont think it is ment to be at the moment 3 dogs have fell through.
I hope everyone understands our decision,We are going to enjoy the ones we have.They are our world,Lacy and Maggy turning 5 this year time sure has crept up on us.I'm still not over Anna leaving us and the dogs being so close in age,I want them to have our full concentration.For now we are not going to look.
Maybe in the future,But for the time being we are not planning on adding any more additions.
I'm sorry Hannah isn't coming. :( I don't blame you for not wanting in on that deal though, I wouldn't either. Enjoy the dogs you have now and maybe one day when you're least expecting it...'the' dog will show up. :)

Sounds like a good decision. Hannah is a cutie, it's understandable that they want to breed her. But that would be a whole new set of problems for you. I have a feeling your beautiful Anna will send a little soul who needs you, when the time is right. (BTW, I miss Anna too, I think of her often)

That's so rude and unprofessional of the breeder to spring that on you at last minute. You had your hearts set on her and everything. The very least she could have done is called you to talk about it instead of making you drive there all excited to pick her up. I'm so sorry about this :( But I think the decision you made was the correct one in this situation. :)

Jamie was a little more hurt then i was,I was rather mad,I told him if i was breeding well maybe things would be different,I want to part in something like that.I consider my crew my kids,I could not see myself being away from them for 2 months,or even a week for them to be sent of too be bred.
I dont care about the money that would be given,nor the choice of a pup.
Im upset but things are going to be just fine.

I'm sorry I didn't see this thread right away but I'm also sorry you lost Hannah. Trust me, it just wasn't meant to be. The right dog will come to you at the right time. I am sorry the breeder just sprung on you like that. How horrible.
