Thanks everyone! I had company over when I posted this and forgot to mention that we'll be taking one of the girls from the litter. Winston's 10 and my parents want to get another Dobe before anything happens to him. We'd wait for another later litter, but our friend/breeder thinks this litter will have the right puppy for us.
Yep, Fortune is red. She's a beautiful pup - reds are my favourite too. :)
-
Oh congrats!! :D How exciting!!! They are lovely!
-
Wow... talk about a cutness overload!
The picture that CritterCrazy reposted is priceless!!
-
They're just too cute for words! Shelby is also gorgeous :)
Congrats on the future new addition! :D
-
Congrats on the new puppy! The mother and beautiful! Those pups are too cute!
-
I love dobermans. They are such beautiful dogs.
The puppies are adorable.
-
Awww so adorable! I just love them, congrats on getting a puppy! :D
-
Omg....awwwww, so adorable!!
-
Darn it! I knew I should have gone to Sue's on Sunday. I hurt my neck though and it really wasn't safe for me to drive. Ah well perhaps next Sunday.
Does Sue know if Hayley is pregnant too?
Congrats on getting your puppy. I was supposed to get a male... but then Ramone happened. Oh well. One day I will have my dobe pup. :)
-
Thanks everyone. :)
Yep, Hayley is too. She was due yesterday, but hasn't had her pups yet as far as I know.
We would prefer a male too, but can't have one of course because of Winston. I'm sure a girl will be almost as good though (once she grows up a bit, anyway! Sue was telling us what trouble makers a lot of female Dobe pups can be yesterday..).
-
Yeah... I've sort of come around to having a female. I want one now though. Sue said I have to be down a dog now before I get a dobe, but I'm going to talk to her about that. I'm thinking of retiring Clipse from agility, so I'm gonna need a new one to train. :)
-
Oh gosh I should't have looked at these pics... ;)
I've wanted a Dobie for a looong time now... Guss I'll just have to wait! Can't wait to see more pics, they are beautiful!
-
-
They are all gorgeous! Congrats on your soon to be puppy! :D
-
Awwwww.....they are just to cute for words! Hayley and Shelby are going to be great pet parents.
-
They're so sweet. I love them all. Congrats on getting to keep one, spoiled :p . Me thinks the ear cropping doesn't flatter the skinny build of mom and her daughter though.

that's great, let us know. :)

Aw, wow! How sweet! Mama looks like such a good, well, mama.. LOL
I love that red Dobe, though. My vet has one and he is SO striking. :)
And wow! You're getting a puppy? That's totally awesome! Keep us updated!
-
OH congrats!! Auughh, can't wait to get my dober pup. I sooo envy you right now!
-
Gorgeous dogs..not a fan of ear cropping at all.....the puppies are precious though
-
Thanks again everyone. :)
However, just thought I'd get it out now that I do not want to hear any opinions on ear cropping and how you (general you) don't like it. I have nothing against it at all as long as it's done responsibly, and our pup will be cropped.
-
I love dobies! They are wonderful dogs. My aunt had three of them when we were growing up, she lived next door. She had a black and tan female, a red and tan female and a buff and tan male.
I agree with the cropping opinions being kept to ones self if you are against it, that just gets arguements started. I personally agree that if it is done properly by an experienced vet and the owners are ready and willing to take on the responsibility of keeping the dog checked for infections and getting the appropriate care while healing done it is ones choice as to whether or not they want to do it. Dobies in my personal opinion look absolutely stunning when the ears are done.
Congradulations on the new pup. Please post lots and lots of pics so we can watch her grow!
-
Oh they're precious!!!
Thanks so much for sharing...
And I can't wait to "meet" the newest addition and watch her grow! :D

The pictures are posted on a public forum. People post them to get opinions/comments
Sorry if you took that as a personal attack it wasnt...i just meant i dont like it :) I dont find it flattering. Just an opinion/comment....nothing more. I certainly did not make you out to be an ogre because you do choose to crop...i believe thats a personal choice.

Oh, I fully understand that. It's just that being a Doberman owner it can get pretty annoying to hear how people feel about cropping constantly. I just wanted to say what I did before the entire topic got a chance to get out of hand (as it tends to do more often than not). :)
