Uh -Oh!!! It's Bath Time!!!

Today I was bored, I decided it was time Mocha got a bath, as she was not looking her greatest! (darn White Cats!) So in the bathroom we went, well low and behold Autumn decided to join us, bad mistake on her part! My son was camera man, while I was performing bathing Duties!

Maggie, you get a huge gold star! Would you do Cassie for me? Your kitties don't look too happy wet, but I bet they'll look terrific when their coats are all dry. Mocha's eyes look a lot better, not so bright red.

No blood, no scrapes no scratches! I win!! He he he he!! :D Course if you look, you can see the nice slice on my hand from Autumn, a couple of nights ago! Someone was being a tad bit naughty, and attacked me in my sleep!:rolleyes:

Autumn looks like my cats -- all bouncing and trying any which way to get out.

Mocha looks a bit calmer, walking around in the tub. Wow, I haven't seen a kitty do that!

They will both look (and smell) so wonderful and fluffy in a few hours!

Oh they do smell so yummy!! :D

Mocha is a pro at baths, but this was autumns first bath. all in all I think she took pretty well!:)

I CERTAINLY HAVE TO AGREE WITH KUHIO98, YOU ARE SO BRAVE , TO BATHE YOUR CATS WITHOUT GLOVES. I KNOW THAT JOSEPH COULD USE A BATH, BUT IM A COWARD, PLUS ITS WINTER UP HERE AND I DONT WANT HIM TO CATCH COLD!!!!

Kylie on the other hand - all that has to happen is the water being turned on and she's outta there!

You did well.:) My cats don't get baths unless they really need it and they aren't easy to bathe either.

Poor wet babies! They look very well behaved though and I'll bet they were gorgeous and fluffy once they dried off.
I wondered if that gash on your hand had been from a previous bath. It's difficult to do anything about those attacks that come while you're asleep, isn't it?

Is there anything more sad looking than a wet cat? :p

Critter Crazy, what kind of shampoo or soap do you bathe your cats with? I was talking to my mom last night. She invited Cassie and me to stay overnight on Christmas Eve with them. But my dad has bad allergies, and Cassie has had quite a bit of dander on her coat lately. She has also been sneezing a good bit and I've read that cat saliva can carry the chemical that sets off human allergies. I think I'd feel better if she had a proper wash-up before I took her to my parents' house. Otherwise I'll leave her at home, which is what I have done previous years.

GREAT PICS! Mocha seemed to be very good, while Autumn doesn't look quite so thrilled! I would honestly lose a limb if I even tried to bathe Squeak!

Oh, don't they look pathetic being all wet, but they sure don't seem to mind a bath. :) I'm amazed you didn't end up in hospital - I would have, had I tried that on Fister! :eek:

Walmart has a whole shelf of Cat Shampoos!

Cassiesmom, I got to my vet, and they have an aloe and oatmeal shampoo that smells GREAT! plus, it is gentle on the coat ;)

OMG, I cannot stop laughing!! And that was exactly what I needed ;) :) !!

Mocha and Autumn look so different soaking wet! It must feel nice snuggling up with two spanking clean kitties. Wet or dry, they both are beautiful.
