A Few Favorites from Monday

After work Monday morning, the weather was so nice, I decided to take Dasher for a walk. He really enjoyed himself. I did, too. I don't know if he's getting better at posing or happier (or both) but each time I take pics of him, I find a new favorite. These came out really well with the morning sun. The second one is my favorite. If I can get myself out of bed tomorrow morning, I want to take him to the dog park. We can start going a lot now because we've finally got nice weather.
Oh, the only reason the choke collar is on him is for the pics. That was a collarless as I could get.

Playing with a pine cone like it was an ear of corn. What a ham. I couldn't let him have it too long because he eats them.

He's absolutely adorable. So sweet and happy looking all the time. :)

There is happy Dasher! You are soooooo handsome. Please have your mom give you a hug for me. I love to see pictures of you, sweetie guy.

Oh Gosh Val, seeing the picture of Dasher with the pine cone clasped in his paws is so priceless.

Great pix, and nice job on getting a black dog well exposed, sometimes they tend to come out too dark or way to bright because of the color.

Dasher is just so handsome and he always looks so happy! Nice pics. :D

Val, these are such great pictures of Dasher! He is such a handsome man! When I was looking at these pics at home on my mom's computer, she walked in and said, "for a minute I thought that was Sadie!" lol. They do kinda look a bit similar! Give Dasher a hug for me! ;) :)

We've been through a lot together. He's truly a gem of a dog and I think he saved me as much as I saved him. Look at the difference in his smiles from that first day. I thought he was smiling then.

Ha ha. I'll give him a hug as soon as I get home from work. I took him for a car ride today since the weather was nice. He loves those. Also let him visit with a lady from work. She loved him. Was fun showing him off. He just loves people.

Ahhh just finished reading the story! Just touched my heart, great job. I had tears in my eyes by the end of the story.

I am so glad you found eachother,I do not know what i would have done if i did not have my guys after Anna's passing.I find if i keep busy then im ok,And my 4 sure do that!

It is only been a few days since her passing and i am still empty withought her,People think im crazy i kept all her things,Food bowl,blankets,last water dish she drank from and even her last treat bag she finished.

It is very hard,Thinks will never get any easier,But in time i will be able to smile when i hear her her name rather than tear up.

He is beautiful,I have always been a softie for Black Labs,There just beautiful companions.

I'm positive that he will be around for many more years,Now that he knows what love is all about.

I'm glad I didn't miss these Val :). You got some really wonderful pictures of your handsome boy. I especially like the zoomed in one, the second photo. I think his coat looks healthier and shinier since you have had him. He's one happy boy and I know he brings you a lot of happiness :)

He looks great, Val! And, definitely a happy dog! I like the watermark, I need to start doing something like that with some of my photos.
