Rott'n Shelties at the off leash...(21 pics)...

Looks like the dogs had a real workout there. I did get a little worried
when I saw them raceing toward the road though. :p Great pictures.

It looks like everyone had a very good time at the park! *waves* Hi, Ramone! Hi, Clipse and Em! You all look beautiful and happy!
-
Oooo......Great pics!! I loved all of the running shots!! Such gorgeous dogs!! Thanks for sharing such great pics!!:D

Gee, they sure can run like the wind! Getting them to "wait" must be tricky when they first arrive. Once they get a bit tuckered out, I bet it gets easier. So free and happy!
-
awwww What beautiful Doggies! I love Rotties! :-) And you have a Nice looking One. Soooo Happy!
-
boy does he fit right in or what?! :D
great pics! :D
-
Those were fantastic pics!! Love the fluffy shelties, and that Rottie... what a handsome hunk! Oh, I just have to get me one of them soon!! Will have to see how the kitties react to that one... :p

Haha. If that worried you I won't tell you what's on the other side of the burm (the hill you see in some of the pics)..... 4 lanes of 80km/h traffic.....
The dogs are pretty good about staying on this side of the fence... the road you see is the end of a cul de sac so there's little to no traffic and it's slow traffic.... It's hard to tell in the pic but they are running on a curve... everyone follows Clipse and I am always aware of how far his circle is going to take him... the other dogs run on the inside of his circle so they rarely cross under the fence. :)

Wow! Great pics. I love the second one in the third set. Looks like they have a great place to run. I'll bet they were flying.

Simply beautiful

When I saw the title of this thread I thought the Shelties had been up to some mischief and were being referred to as *Rotten Shelties*. :p
-
Your shelties are gorgeous,as always. ;) Ramone is so handsome. :) Very nice pictures. All of their running around has made me tired! :D
-
Oh wow is there a place to fit a Scottie in? Nena would of had loads of fun for hours. She loves big dogs.
-
What goooood doggies! Ramone looks like he's "one of the gang" now!
-
Yay! This amused me today at work. :)
I didn't catch the memo you got a Rottie! :D Good for you!
I have a question of color for you. I've always loved bi-black shelties like Clipse, but the other day I was driving home and I thought I saw a bicolor COLLIE being walked. Was I seeing things? Maybe it was a tricolor with really dark tan marks?

Collie's, as far as I know, don't come in bi-colors. It could have been a poorly marked tri. :)

I'd kill to have a place for my dogs to truelly be free and run like that!!

at the risk of getting poo-pooh'ed
Could it have been a large Sheltie?

Aw they are so cute. Glad to see your new boy is fitting in so well.
I like this one the best.

Oh, if you could see the great BIG SMILE on my face right now. I have always loved Emily and Clipse, but now Ramone has really wiggled his way right into my heart too. Looks like I will need a bigger car if I still plan on stealing your pups.

Not going to poo-pooh you at all, Staci. The same thought occurred to me. I remember admiring a gorgeous 11 month old collie, he was a big boy, then his mom told me he was a sheltie. He was a big handsome sweetie-pie, though.

It very well could have been. Size is still a big problem in shelties. They are supposed to be 13" to 16" tall at the withers. Anything more or less is a disqualification.
To many people size is the only difference between shelties and collies, but there are other structural differences as well. The most noticeable is their head. Shelties have a very pronounced stop whereas collies don't.... but in saying that... I've seen many a collie looking sheltie before. :) I groom a sheltie that makes my giant shelties seem like they are the proper size. He is very collie looking in the face. Confused yet? lol

Oh those pictures of your Trio made my DAY!! :D

They sure have a great place to run around!
