My parent's new puppy!!

I'd like to introduce Hoover!!
EDIT.... as of 11:00am my niece has changed his name to Buddy!! :D So I'll call him Buddy Jr.!!
(I wanted them to name him Willard :p )
My parent's went to the local APL and adopted this little guy on Saturday.
He's about 6 or 7 months old. (adult teeth are in, but haven't been for very long) He's a little skinny, he was brought to the shelter 2 months ago as a stray. He's such a good puppy!!
Heeeeeeers Buddy Jr.!! He's a GSD mix, he has quite a bit of GSD in him, he's got the thick legs/ankles and the course fur. I'd bet he's going to fill out at about 65 pounds.

Hey little guy - aren't you gorgeous??

:D He is adorable. I am sure he will be able to make everyone happy again. Toby has a big smile on her face; she is thinking "yep, that's the one I wanted them to find." I hope you get to take lots of pictures of him so that he can become as much a part of PT as Sierra and Buddy.

I'm going to visit him again today, I want to take Sierra but I think I'll wait till he's had a visit with his vet to make sure he's 100% healthy. He came from a VERY over crowed shelter. I'd much rather be safe then sorry.

I only live about 15 minuets from them so I'll get to see him all the time!
He has an appointmet with my mom's vet on November 5th, after he gets checked out I'll bring Sierra over to play with him. Oh she just Loooooooves puppies!!

He is little for being 6 or 7 months old. I would think he would max out at about 40 - 45 pounds. He is a sweety pie for sure.

Yes he does have quite a bit of GSD in him and he has just the sweetest eyes and facie! :) I agree with Rachel. He looks to be small for seven months so I don't think your parents are going to have a big guy there. He will definitely fit the bill as Buddy, Jr. ;) Do you think your parents might end up suffering from multiple shepherd syndrome like you do? :p

Just try to tell me this pup doesn't have the GSD puppy eyes thing down

I know by looking at his face he looks like he's going to be small, but when he grows into his paws he'll be a good sized boy!
Like Pam said, he'll fit the name Buddy Jr. perfectly!! :D (Because he won't be anywhere NEAR Buddy's 95 pounds!! :eek: )

I went over last night again (no camera :mad: ) my parents were out to dinner so I let him out of his crate and took him outside to potty and he made the most adorable "happy puppy grunts" I've ever heard! Oh they were so cute! He had me laughing SO hard!!

I promise many more pictures to come of Buddy Jr.

My parents have a cat named Leroy and he and RB Toby were the best of friends. Leroy was a little freaked out by his new brother the first 2 days but Buddy was a perfect angel! Leroy hisses at him, Buddy play bowed and gave a cute little puppy "Arf" and when Leroy didn't respond... Jr. just walked away!! Monday night my parent's said Leroy came and sat on my mom's lap, and Buddy walked up, they were nose to nose. Leroy, ever so gently, reached out his paw and touched Buddy's face!! As if he were saying "I guess you're alright kid.. you’re no Toby.. but you'll do"
