Meowmy is gettin ober someting cawled brown-kites and coffs a WOT!!! [Note: Da coffs make my precious ears ache. *HISS* I don't see no kites of any color. Not sure why brownkites isn't coffy-coffy-sickies. I FINK it should be.] We sat outside in da backyard yesterday and soaked up sunshine. *PURRR!* Good stuffs. I frolicked under plum tree, rose bushies, cherry tree, and peach trees. More good stuffs. Apawrently a twig wif two tinies leafs got stuck between my shoulder blades. Meowmy lawft and lawftied until she had toubles breving. *cough, cough, cough* She SAID the leafs looked like chewrubs wings and I wook likka angel like I IS. If I IS an angel, why shoulda Meowmy laff if I WOOKS whika angel? Is my Meowmy cwazy?

Isit danuwuss to wiv wid a cwazy meowmy???

PS -- How can I make da coffy-coffy-sickies go bye-bye? My ears HURT.

Livvy, My suggestion is #2. Your meowmie is trying to get well so please just bare with her. You should be cuddling up with her at night to help keep her warm. I'm glad that you were able to make her laugh and help her feel a bit better. What has your brother Cassy been up to? I hope he's also being a good boy. Please be a good girl now. Rubs and scritches.

I'm sorry to hear that you have bronchitis.:( I had a mild case many years ago so I know how horrible it is. I hope that you'll feel better soon. no it's not dangerous to live with a crazy human. we live with one who actually takes pills she says its for attitude ajustment. she says maybe you should carry a pail to someplace called a fo house and bring back the yummy soup they make there and that will help her get over the coffy-coffy sickness.

mom says the fo house near us even has fish for hoomins to watch. maybe all hoomins are crazy.

Hmm, it's a fair question Libby. However, on balance, I think you should give meowmie the benefit of the doubt. She has not been well lately. Also she has been separated from PT, so has not had her proper quota of cute cat photos and antics, with the result that when you put on such a floorshow she was simply unable to contain herself.

You should probably stick around. I think it is safe.

Of course your meowmie is crazy - but the crazy ones are the best ones if you ask me ;)

I am glad to hear you and Cassy are fine, I missed you both very much. How are the blinds at home? ;)

Oh Livvy, don't ya know, all hoomans are crazy! :p I know this first hand. Stick it out with her, though. It isn't going to be any better anywhere else. I kind of like my mom, even if she is crazy. ;)

Dear Livvy-Wivvy,

Are hoomins crazy???...they are so nuts I'm surprised the squirrels don't get them all!

But sometimes it is best to simply humor them....and it gets you treats, scritches, and lovin'!

Livvy, I know first hand, all humans are crazy, but most of them are not dangerous. ;) So I would vote no. 2.

My mom has been coughing quite a lot recently, and I certainly didn’t like it, but got used to it, and I’m proud to say I even stayed there while she was coughing - at least for a bit! I found that snuggling up very close to her in bed, helped her get over it much sooner than she would have, so stick it out and you’ll be rewarded with yummy treats as soon as she feels better. :D

Thanks all. Yes, today I actually felt well enough to run some errands. Amazing how things pile up...

Livvy has been charming, really. And she was ADORABLE with the teeny-tiny leaves/wings on her back, how I longed for my camera!

Cassy seemed worried about me while I was sick. For the most part he made himself into "Mr. Velcro Kitty" and endured the coughing fits as they lasted.

My doctor sent me for tests yesterday to verify it was the bronchitis that I suspected and not the pneumonia/other ickies she feared. It's been over 24 hours, so I'm guessing that's an all-clear. I can see I'm getting stronger day-by-day.* Missing my birthday due to illness was pretty much a bummer though, as you can guess.

* Cassy and Livvy had a 3 room spat just a bit ago. I think they can tell I'm doing better, too. :rolleyes: :p :rolleyes: Oh, how i love cats.

Livvy, of course all humans are nutz but as Randi says, "harmless!":p

Oh no!! :( Livvy, I won't acuse you just yet, but me think you didn't snuggle up CLOSE ENOUGH to you mom - you know, you need to be on her chest at all times. That's what helps! ;) It's good if you can get her to read lying on her side, that's what I do, and you can get your occasional scritch on the chin from the book too - and tummy rubs with one arm. I also suggest you let her book rest on you, like I allowe. But make sure she has her back covered with the duvet!

Also, this is a good opportunity to get some fish - that's real healthy!! One more thing.... Be sure to get to the kitchen while the fish is raw, once it's on the pan or in the oven, it's no good! - You will of course share with her. :eek:

In any case, tell your mom to take care, keep warm and to get better soon - one more time!! :)

Be patient an hopefully she will feel better soon and back to normal, or whatever IS normal for humans. :D
