Lovely miceies! I wnat to take them all home with me. I'd also love a camera that takes such good pictures of the little moving targets.

WOW!!! Your pictures are just amazing!!! :eek: I do not know much about mice, but was very suprised to see such color varieties!! I have never seen Brindle Mice!! Awsome!!!

Haven't held them yet? I see some pink eyes, probably PEW. Are you trying to get color on the head sometime, or white faced brokens? Can you show white faced ones? Sorry, I don't do showing as of yet. My brokens have more color on their face and little on their bodies, we need to get mine and yours together.
Yep i've held them :) Not sure if they will be PEW or pale tans.
For showing, i think they must have a nose spot to be eligible. Although herefords are all white faced (not sure if they are classed as a breed here though yet)...I do not show as yet, so havent really checked into it. They might be able to enter under a pet type class. I really only breed them for loving pets...maybe later once i get the line established and how i want it...i may look more into the showing side :)
I find the white face/cloured body attractive...i'd like to try to develop it in other colours over time.
Darkening up and i'm pretty sure there will be tan colours in there also

I do see some pigment in that sea of pink. They sure grow quickly. Half the ears are pricked. Nice round noses too. I wish I could get pics of mine while they grow. But that would require a new camera I can't afford. I recently got two male satin fawn brothers. They have brindle in their family tree. Real nice coats but I think one is a hermaphrodite. It's quite obvious when you take a tally of what animals I have, I'm obsessed with orange animals :) The orange ones always seem to find me.
OMG Theire adorable!!!!!!! but what do you do with all your mice??? give them away sell them oor keep them?

IRescue ~ We don't have satin in OZ that i know of....i wish...it really is a stunning look
inlovewith ~ I both keep them and sell them as pets only....depending on what sex, colouration and type they are. The manx will more than likely stay (i just hope they arent all boys *L*).
You have the prettiest mice I have ever seen. Such wonderful colors and perfect names. It was a joy to see each and every one of them.

wich one of the babies are you goign to keep now that they are all named and you can see their coloring really well?
Do you house all your mice on pine?
I miss having a little mousie, I rescued one pregnant female from the petsotre o used to work at, but she had 20 pups!!!.. half were white, and half were brown-no special markings or anything
They're so cute. I like the new girls too. Cookie's coloring is more of a silvered agouti than blue. We don't have manx here, I'd trade you a handful of satins for a manx anyday.
Ellie, Emily, Eowyn, Esperence, Eternity & Evalyn will most likely be staying on (definately the manx girls). Debating on Eomer...not really requiring any more males though as yet...but we'll see.Quote:
