Uhh, what am I missing here... should I go and book my ticket? ;)
Seriously, I wish I could be with you!! Have fun!! :D
Aw! Man! I just took a vacation! Otherwise I'd be packin' my bags and planning a little drive down south. Okay, a big drive .... y'all have fun and take pics!
I wish I could but too far away :(
maybe someday....
WAAAAAH! Why are you so far away!
Have a wonderful time girls! :D Pictures please.
I know that Laurie is unhappy with me - but I have season football tickets that day and if I don't go - four other people can't go.
But I know you will have a good "roast" without me.
I wish I could...but I get the "pleasure" of working that day.... take lots of pictures!
Just because I can't be there in purrson, doesn't mean that I can't call you.
**ring ring **
;) :D
Laurie is now in Laguna Niguel - wish I was too! I had a chat with both Sara and Laurie (IM). It is/was raining, so they weren't quite sure what they'd do today. Possibly a tour of The Mission - and I agree, that place is a MUST!
I hope it has stopped raining now - think it has, as they're N/A.
Whereever you have gone, I hope you brought your camera, we want to see lots of pictures!! ;)
Hope you're both having a good time! Look forward to pictures. :D
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! :D It stopped raining about 10ish on Sat. morn and off to the Mission (with my personal guide doncha know ;) ) and what a place it is. It was Monarch Butterfly time as well as just the time of year The Swallows are back. Sara explained that The Swallows don't spend all that much time at the Mission any more, they would rather hang out in the parking lot at the Mall  *what are you going to do with kids these days?* This was after a beautiful drive to Dana Point and around town. Back to pick up Don and off on another adventure to Newport Beach and a ferry ride to Balboa Island and a harbor cruise to be peeping (hi Gini) Toms into the homes of the Rich & Famous. The E's are everything we have heard and more. Lady Edwina gave me a lovely wake up call Sat. morn and some pointers on how I should better pack and manage my purse. Edwardo is a total love. Sara & Dons house could be on a tour package of it's own. Thanks to two of the best So Cal guides ever!! Gini, hope you were kidding about my being upset  I'm upset with myself for not planning a longer vacation. Great speaking with you Slick & Randi. See you all later. If I can open the window on the plane I'll drop you a care package Phred. "look out below"..... ;)
Sounds a wonderful time you had! I'm so pleased. :D
Did Lady Edwina model any hats?
Laurie, glad to hear that you had such a great time with The E's and Sara and Don. You have been included in a rare treat - a personal tour of the Mission by Sara - and time with one of the nicest couples on Pet Talk. They are gracious hosts - every time!
And isn't Eduardo the sweetest boy? I just love him - and Edwina just makes me smile and smile with the attitude only she could pull off!
I'm glad it stopped raining and you had a wonderful time, but how could you not with Sara, Don and the E's as hosts. :) I'm sure Sara gave you a great tour at the Mission - isn't it a beautiful place!!
Now, enjoy San Diego!

This is Bob, Laurie's brother... I want to tell you how much I enjoy this web site. It's not only an inspiration but one of the few places I can hear an intelligent conversation. Thank you, I hope you don't mind if I drop in for an occasional eavesdrop. Thanks a lot you guys for being a friend of my sister Laurie ~
Hi Laurie's brother!! :D It's good to hear from you! Is Laurie behaving - keep an eye on her for us, will you! ;) Nah, you know we love her and tell her we'll be looking forward to a full report on her visit with you and also Sara. Pictures are prolly too much to ask for. ;)
You should join, Bob!
Welcome to Pet Talk, Bob! You can eavesdrop all you want. I'm David P and I live a little northwest of you in Pittsburgh. Again, welcome aboard!Quote:

The two on the near boat have knocked the mast off it storage location; trashed railings;
possibly set it adrift; and may yet cave in the hatch and wander inside!
A few sea lions have been known to either sink or Totally Trash some very nice boats.
There's lots of articles and photos on the net describing the grief those Lion Guys cause
every year when they migrate into marinas and decide to "go boating". :(
/s/ Phred
Oh they had just gotten on that boat! I think the damage was from the party (sea lion) the night before!
They are cute but when the desires of the sea lions collide with the desires of the boaters and fisherpersons....well...
I think it may need quite a bit of climate change until we have sea lions on our mountain lakes ;)
