Time Has Come :(

I'm having to have Thumper PTS.
A very good friend of mine is coming to get me to take her up to our vets.
Please pray that she passes in peace.

:( Oh Hon, I am so sorry. I thought for sure she would make a great recovery. How sad. I am sure you are doing what is best for her. She will once again be a normal Happy kitty at the Rainbow Bridge!!

Becky, Thumper is such a special girl w/an indomitable spirit. Her passing in peace will be the final act of kindness that you can do for her, your final gift. Please know that I'm thinking of you all and feel so much sadness, yet joy in knowing that very soon she will be free of all pain, suffering and challenges. If ever a cat has earned her wings, it's Thumper girl.

This has been one of the hardest fought battles I have even witnessed. Becky you fought every bit as hard as Thumper and maybe even more. I can't imagine what this journey has been like for you all. I have followed the entire time and never knew what to say. You have done everything humanly possible for Thumper and then some. Now is time to show the final act of love, the most compassionate and truest act you can give to Thumper. You are letting her be a peace as much as it hurts you to do so. May her passing be easy and swift.

Fly on the wings of angels Thumper. You fought long and hard and it it now your time to rest and be pain-free. Be a healthy happy kitty once more and watch over your meowmie who loves you so much.

Her passing was peaceful. I held her while the sleeping shot worked but couldnt stay for the final shot.
Bless my good friend who took me this morning. I also went to the crematory and saw the beautiful craved wooden box, I picked out.
My vet was going to take her over there this afternoon. What a kind man :)

This was my first experience with PTS. RB Butterscotch died naturaly at home.

We gave it a good fight. I'm happy she is playing hard at the RB Bridge.

Play and run at the bridge, dear Thumper!

I am so sorry. You worked so much with her that she couldn't help but know she was loved and wanted and THAT is such a special gift you gave to her. Have fun at the Bridge, Sweet Thumper!

Aww, that is so sad to hear about Thumper. I'm glad she went peacefully and she is now playing with my Dusty over the RB. Dusty will help keep her company and show her around for you.

The Pet Angels Are Dedicating The Party As The Thumper Labor Day Memorial. She Will Get The First Plate At The Dinners And The First Bed At The 5 Star Hotels. I Am Sure Thumper Misses Her Guardians And Will Pick Just The Right Places Tostay And Eat When Her Family Is Reunited In Love. She Doesnt Want You To Cry But To Have Happy Memories Of Her As She Will See You Again.

Thumper is one special lady, our minister made what would be a "human funeral" call to us tonight. It was so sweet of him to stop by and take time to talk with us. She sure is smiling now about this tonight. :)

With tears in my eyes, I too say a final good bye to dear Thumper.

I'm new here (started on the Rescue board), so I don't know your story, but I do know the sadness and pain of having to say 'so long' to a beloved furchild. I hope that your dear Thumper made her transition peacefully; without doubt, she's well and happy now.

I am so sorry that your precious Thumper has passed on. She was such a special and brave girl. You and your hubby, forgive me but his name escapes me right now, did more for her than anyone I know would have.
Thumper put up a good fight. She was well loved and will never be forgotten.
It was very hard for me to see her pictures, but then it got to a point where I would see past her tumor and just see that sweet loving face of hers. She was a sweetheart that's for sure.

I pray and hope that you find comfort and peace in the fond memories you made together.

Rest in Peace dear brave Thumper. I will never forget you.

Just now reading this. I am so very sorry. All of you gave it all you had. Thumper is now well again, able to run and play - you will see her again. That much I know.
