My sweet lil foster girl is getting sayed today :( I am anxious to hear from the vet soon. They are supposed to call and tell me how it went. I miss her and hope it all goes well.
She came into work with me this morning at 6 and we went at 7:30 to the Vet's. I took a picture of her in my office.

Souraya, I'll think of Roxey today and hope all is well! Let us know ASAP how it all went. I think it's wonderful and so very responsible of you to have her spayed before you let her be adopted.....
She looks so much like Duncan, it's uncanny! The same expressions and everything!! Her ears are the same and the feathering on her feet and between her toes! Even the shape of her head...... :eek: :D
Souraya, I think I hear love in your voice when you speak of Roxey. I wish you were keeping her! Anyhow, she is in my thoughts and prayers as she gets spayed today. ;)
We'll be thinking of you today Roxey while you are at the vets having that nasty little surgery done (Huney told me to add the nasty part since she just got spayed this month too!).

The Vet called and said Roxey is done with her surgery and that she is well enough to go home. But get this. They cut her up and found no overies and a disfomed uteres! She was born without her plumbing!
I feel so horrible that she had to go through the surgery and not get anything done :(
She will be coming home tonight at 5:30. I will take pictures of the sweet girl!
Oh, poor Roxey girl. At least now she won't have any problems in the future....Better to get it over with now than have major problems later....

Is Roxey staying with you until the weekend or is she still at your friends? I was wondering if Drake was letting her stay with you now. I hope she is feeling better from her Surgery. :)
Drake is with Andrew. With me moving and all, he would just get in the way since he is so hyper. Plus, i wanted to be able to spend this last week with Roxey girl.
She goes to her new home on Saturday.
Thanks for the update! Are you moving far from where you are now? Perhaps moving closer to Andrew? What about your job? Just call me nebby!!! :eek:
Ahhh, poor baby!!:( So sorry you had to endure the surgery only to find the "works" were missing! But so relieved to hear you did well and will be back with Souraya very soon!:) And soon you'll be going to your foverhome!!! Yay!! Rest well, dear Roxey! That picture is a heartmelter!!
Roxey is just adorable, I'm so glad she came through the surgery, plumbing or no plumbing. I just absolutely love those black dogs.

Drake was totally different than Roxey when he got neutured. Roxey was moping around the house and slept a whole bunch. She was even having a hard time getting up on the bed to snuggle. I had to help her. Draker was running around like the psycho dog he was :D
I am moving in with a friend for a month. In 2 weeks, I will give my company my 2 weeks and move to Alabama to be with Andrew. Andrew, Drake, and I will be living in the same house!!! So excited. It has been 8 months since Andrew moved.
Dixie was like Roxey. She moped for a couple days and needed help getting on the bed too. Please give her a hug from me and tell her she is loved by a lot of people all over the world!
It is wonderful news that you will be finally living with your hubby again! I'm sure the whole family will be excited, especially your furkid!! :D Now he can be spoiled double time again!! :cool: :D ;)
Our Huney was way out of it for like 2 days! She just wanted to be loved on and sleep. Give Roxey a big snuggly from me!
