Another Day at the River...

Last weekend we took Dance to a local river/park and she did pretty good, but didn't want much to do with the water and was a little timid with the people. We took her back today and she was much better! She leaped into the water with lots of enthusiasm and happily greeted anyone and anything that wanted to see her. Her socialization stuff is going extremely well. We had a wonderful day. The only thing I got tired of was the "what is she?" question, but I fully expect to hear that for as long as I have a Toller around. Anyway, here are the pictures. There are lots of them. I took over a hundred, but I managed to narrow it down to about 30 or so, give or take a few. I hope you enjoy them!

Oh how fun!! I LOVED the last one with the ball in her mouth, she looks like a lot of fun! Great pictures, I loved them all!!

She is an absolute doll! She has such a cute little smile and I love her white feet. I like the ones of her in the water!

Tollers are such beautiful, confident looking dogs. There's one that frequents our dog park.. its soo pretty and SOFT! Kinda sad.. it only has 3 feet.. 4 legs but 3 feet. Owner said her mom chewed her foot off when she was just born. ( :confused: ) I thought that was awful weird... But anyways!

Riptide, Tollers can have either flesh (pink) or black pigment. The flesh colour is most commonly seen though and is usually more desired. I personally much prefer flesh pigment over black on Tollers.

Awwww, Dance is soooooo pretty!!! It looks like she had a total ball at the River yesturday...how fun! :)

I don't think I've seen a Toller before, I'm going to go look them up. Wow, very pretty! Thanks for showing us her pictures.

EDIT: Just looked up the Tollers, (Actually, "Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever" and learned all about Dance's Breed.) so, how does she act around the critters around the river? I love how you said she leaps around instead of runs...so cute!!!

She's still a pup so she's pretty unsure of different critters when she sees them. Yeserday there was a duck flying up and down the river that she was pretty interested in and wanted to chase, but most of the time she stares at the animal (be it a chipmunk, squirrel, bird, etc.) with curiosity but won't try to approach it.

She is the most precious little girl. I know everyone here has the urge to shower her with kisses. I know I sure do. She couldn't be any cuter and she looks like she's as sweet as she looks :) Great pictures of her :)

You have to add image tags ([*img] [/img*]) around the url, without the asterix is them.

It doesn't surprise me that you've never heard of the breed. They're not overly common (fortunately). The site Kelly posted is full of information though. :)

Dance has THE most adorable puppy face I've ever seen. It looks so innocent, and her nose is just begging for a kiss! :D

Dance has such an angelic and innocent face. Unlike Raven whose always had a glint of impending mischief in her eyes LOL. You have just taken some gorgeous shots of her, she's truly a beautiful pup. Benji sounds like he/she could easily resemble Raven. I don't know what all is in her but I wouldn't be surprised if she was a blend like that! Thanks so much for sharing!

She's SO cute and such a goof. I love the water pics and the one with the tennis ball in her mouth. What a fun pup!! Keep 'em coming. The last one really melted my heart, she looks so little. What a sweet smile. :)
