JUst a quick email to let you all know Sheena has had 2 pups already. Both boys and very strong. The first was born at 2:07 and weighs 14oz and is 9 inchs long. The second one was born at 2:27 and is 11.4oz and is 7 1/2 inchs long. Both are moving and talking a ton and Sheena is doing great.
Pictures will be posted later when I have some time. Just had to let you all know.

boy #3 was born at 4pm and is 13.3oz and 8 inchs long. And talk about LOUD. LOL She seems to be liking boys right now. I am praying that she has at least 1 or 2 girls though.

Taz_Zoee--I think previously she said they were expecting at least 6, with possibly two hidden pups though.

Boy #4(yup you read right. Another boy. lol) weighs in at ..... get this... 15.4oz and is 9inchs long. The biggest boy yet. All of the pups are still strong and fiesty and very vocal. lol And Sheena is doing great.

Aww I cant wait to see pics. In dec. when my Gracie was having pups at first I was afraid she would only have girls but then ended up with 5 boys and 2 girls.

Aha, ours were usually fairly even in the sexes but our Mist did have 6 bitches and one dog in her first litter, lol. As sod's law would have it, everyone wanted dogs, lol.

OK boy # 5 was born at 6:32pm. So she is having them about an hour or so apart. He is 9.9oz's, so teh smallest so far and is 8 inchs in length. He is doing fine and is just as vocal as his siblings.
Now come on the girls. lol I hope. lol Luckily my adopters don't care what sex they get only the temperment is important to them.

That makes 64 ounces of puppies or four pounds. My goodness, mom Sheena! I'm glad they are all healthy so far and it doesn't sound like anything worrisome has happened. Fingers crossed. I really did need some good news today. July 10th, happy birth-day Puppies!

The 6th male pup was born at 8:35pm. He is 11oz and 9 inchs long. We are not sure if she has anymore since the vet told us 6 for sure but was thinkiing there was at least one or two more that she could not see. So there could be more. Maybe our girl hiding in there still. lol All the pups are healthy, energetic and vocal and Sheena is still doing great.

And I'm soooooooo HAPPY to see a healthy mom AND pups. (Too often i have seen starved female GSDs and the owners think their dog is perfectly fine. *shudder*

CONGRATULATIONS They are just absolutely beautiful, Sheena what a great job you did, you look so happy and the puppies look so healthy. Hope you can rest some girl, you must be exhausted...lol
