Boo boo is gone... :(

This afternoon, my aunts boyfriend came over to drop something off, and ran over Boo boo. :( He was in the yard where he always is, and went to greet the man when he came over. Aparently he walked in front of the car (he always does this, but EVERYONE knows all the dogs do :rolleyes: ) and he ran him over.

Boo boo was 14 years old. I've had him since I was 2 or 3. I'm going to miss him a lot. Before Boo boo was hit, we were packing to move, and I was having a very hard time... already in tears because I don't want to move. When I found out Boo boo got killed it was horrible. Boo boo was my families dog. I live on a large farm, and there are two houses, mine and my grandpa's. Boo boo spent every minute of every day with my grandpa, never letting him out of his sight. My grandpa is staying on our farm while the rest of us move to Arizona. My grandpa was gonna stay here with "his little buddy", but now he is gone. My grandpa is very upset, and I offered to leave Autumn here because my grandpa loves Autumn as much as I do, but my grandpa wants me to take her with me.

Boo boo lived a long and happy life, and it was wearing down. He was partially blind and deaf. He was a very happy boy and I'm glad he lived as long as he did. RIP Boo boo, play hard at the rainbow bridge. :(

I'm so sorry for your loss.
It's so hard to loose loved pet as it is, but when tragedy strikes suddenly it hurts that much more.
I hope your grandfather finds another pal to hang out with on the farm.

Thanks everyone. Today has been really hard. The guy that hit him came back over tonight, and kept apologizing, I feel really bad for him, he is having a hard time too. He looked so sad. My grandpa left our farm soon after it happend and didn't come back until like 9.. VERY odd for my grandpa since he's usually in bed by 7:30.. I hope he's ok. :(

I'm so sorry for your loss. :( Boo boo will be able to watch over all of your family now from the RB. I hope your grandpa is doing better.

I dont know how my gpa is because we left for AZ the day after it happend. I think we are leaving Maggie and Autumn back on the farm when we move though, because my grandpa needs some company. It's going to be SO hard leaving them, but I'll be home a LOT so it won't be soo bad.
