All American Rejects, Kiss, and Green Day.

Rascal Flatts(country)and Casting Crowns(christian) :D
I'm such an old fuddy duddy! All these bands are new to me. I agree with Zippy about Casting Crowns.
Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band :D
Beatles.
After that, the best performers are Mozart, Sinatra, ManHatten Transfer, Boston Pops.
The best composer after the Beatles (Lennon and McCartney with some from Ringo and George) is J.S. Bach.
Bach Rocks. If you youngsters don't believe me, you are still listening to him today. He's been modernized and put to a beat.
Brody's Mom and Freedom: I'm older still. Older than the mountains according to my students.
Loudness does not imply quality.
If I may make a metaphor: Listening to music is like having an adult drink: I prefer to remember what I did and said the next morning with clarity, and I prefer to keep my hearing so I can listen to music well past my old age.

I actually can't stand any of those bands. None have any talent what-so-ever (to me) and especially Panic sounds like a little girl singing. HOWEVER this is just my opinion, I'm not saying it to make anyone upset, you like the bands you like and keep on rockin' them out as hard as you can :)

I looove Slipknot. Well their newer stuff, and Corey's side project Stone Sour. Both amazing bands. I do agree I can't listen to a band if they only scream the entire time. I need singing thrown in there somewhere!! A little screaming is ok, but the entire song/cd.... nope.Quote:

I don't like any of those bands. A few of my favorite bands are Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Slayer, and Radiohead.

But like Bri, I can't pick a favorite band because I like too many types of music.
I don't listen to those much.
I'm a person that listens to many bands... like
Waking Ashland
Copeland
The Format
Switchfoot
Mae
This Providence
Armor For Sleep
I mostly listen to bands no one has ever heard of, but maybe some of you heard of them. I like underground music.
I've actually heard of almost all of those. Mae is gorgeous, and Switchfoot is one of the best Christian bands (besides Skillet, who are just AMAZINGGGG) haha. I've heard of the others except the format but don't like them too much.Quote:

that is without a doubt the greatest album ever made. I think my fav "oldies" band is CCR (creedence clearwater revival) and my fav teenage years band is Rancid....my fav current band is probably Modest Mouse. :)Quote:

I love mae, yes Skillet is very good as well. Switchfoot i love as well. I'm more of a fan of Waking Ashland, more into that type. The Format you can think of kind of like oldie's sounding but good beat to it its very hard to explain, but they're good. They are from my state, so i heard of them from here of th local bands.Quote:
