Thought I would share - New Camera, New Pics! :)

Hey everyone! I haven't been around much since Nakita passed away in January but thought I would stop by. Rob surprised me with a new SLR as an early birthday present and thought I would share some test pics with you. :D

I'm really enjoying the camera and can't wait to get a macro lens. I took some basic macro pics, but the current lens I'm using isn't really meant for that type of photography so they are not as clear as I would like.

Rob was my first test victim. ;) I took these in the evening, by the lake. The lighting conditions were wonderful at that time of day.

Those Are Such Wonderful Photos And We Know That Nakita Is Still With You , And Wants You To Know That Shes Doing Well As A Pet Angel.
And That One Day You Will See A Cat Who Needs A Home And Adoprt Her. Nakita Will Be So Proud And Happy As The Found Cat Angels Are When A New Arrival Comes To The Hotel.

The camera is a Canon Rebel. These are the first pictures I took with it so they're not that bad. Once I get more familiar and comfortable with the camera, the pics should improve. ;)

Great pictures, as always! :) I'm so glad you're having some fun with your new camera. I'd love for you to give me some tips/lessons in photography too! ;) I gifted myself with a Canon Digital Rebel XTi over Christmas, but I'm still pretty clueless how to use it.

We miss you here at PT, so I'm glad you stopped in to share your gift of photography. Please come more often if you can! ;)

Which Rebel did you get? I just got the XTi but haven't had much time to experiment with it other than the default settings. :(

I miss PT too! I don't stay away on purpose, just life is soooo busy with the new job and constant home renovations. And if you want some lessons, drop by my place anytime. ;)

Rob purchased the XTi for me. This weekend was the first time I really had time to play with it. I just took this pic of Rob last night and I can't get over the perfect skin tone! Canon is always wonderful that way.

I was just thinking of you a few days before you posted this and I was wondering how are you. We have a pretty (very preggy) grey kitty that comes to our house sometimes and that reminded me of Nakita.

I couldn't see the pictures at the office, but hey, Great photography! I too love Canon - I had a simple Canon before, now I have a nice Fuji, but it's not comparable with Canon. When I get more comfortable with my new job and I get more time on my hands, I want to read a little more about photography, I followed the links you gave in an older post and I have found a few more articles on that - just need to put it into practice.

It's good to hear from you, I've been missing you
