Gas prices here is Italy are outrageous. We pay €1,32 per liter. Which is €5,28 per gallon. And in U.S. dollars that is $7.15 per gallon. So I have to say I would love to be paying $2.89 a gallon.
Today I saw $2.10 around here.
Wow Michelle, that is crazy!!! I thought around $4 was bad. Now I will not feel so bad fueling up, I'll just think of prices in Italy and be glad I'm paying what I am.
You don't drive too much do you? LOL
$3.14/g for regular
Actually hubby drives 35 kms a day just to go to and from work. We are not go go go like some but we spend anywhere from €150,00 - €200,00 a month on gas and that is just him using the car. There are 2 other cars in our household and they spend roughly the same amount and no one drives an over abundance. I would hate to think if we did drive a lot.Quote:

The cheapest here in CT is $3.04/gallon. That's depressing!!!! Especially since most of the price is Connecticut gas tax! UGH!!!
Gas prices in Bowmanville,Ontario are $1.07 a litre here,a little better than British Columbia, the day before it was $1.06 then the day after a $1.07 where it has been for a couple of days.
This was a really strange trip to OK. Normally, the closer to OK I get, the lower the gas prices get. This time it was inverted.
$2.87 in NY (Normally NY has one of the highest prices, especially in the southern tier), and $3.19 in OK when I got here.
$2.89  Poor Michelle. $7?
it is $3.09 here  Last time I filled up it was 2.64 a gallon and I thought that was bad
after conversions it comes to $4.20 USD per gallon here.
$2.88-$3.07
That's the lowest and highest I saw tonight on my way to my Mom's and back. Most stations are $2.99 and that's what I paid to fill up.
LH: I see the inversion thing here too. Normally, gas is considerably higher towards/in Daytona Beach. Tonight, it was higher close to my house and kept getting lower towards Daytona. I don't think I've ever seen this happen before.
It's about $3.30+ per gallon here.
But $7? Outrageous!
$3.19/ gallon and rising, no doubt.
It was $3.23 this afternoon!
Wow that's even higher than up here! We are at 1.19 a litre CDN. We were close to 1.30 last summer. Prices will jump with the start of tourist season in a couple weeks, I'm sure!Quote:

The governor of the State of Connecticut has proposed to the Legislation that the $.25 PER GALLON gas tax be temporarily suspended from Memorial Day until Labor Day to give the folks in the state a break. I don't know why they can't just lower the gas tax permanently or scrap the tax altogether.
It's $3.19 a gallon in Cincinnati.
Here is Northern Kentucky (1/2 hour away from Cincinnati Ohio) it's $2.94 on cheap gas Tuesday with regular price $3.09 and will probably go up again by the weekend. Peeves me off that Exxon this last quarter made a zillion dollar profit.
Regular unleaded YESTERDAY was $3.19 per gallon.
Regular unleaded TODAY is $3.39 per gallon.
Now explain to me, ANYONE, why there can be such a huge jump overnight? I don't get it! I am no economist, but it just doesn't seem like this is feasible, and yet it seems to happen every week or so here. I have found that the prices usually tend to go up on Thursdays, just before the weekend.
I had gotten an email (chain) encouraging people to NOT fill up today to "stick it to the gas people" but a local economist said that won't work because people will just fill up either yesterday or tomorrow. He also said that the prices are somewhat based on supply and demand. So I guess I need to buy a bike and ride that to work.... or use the local bus system. Seems to me like the prices I pay for gas could actually be higher than what I pay for my car insurance!
Yeah, gas prices totally suck right now. I put gas in over the weekend, and it was $3.65/gallon for the "cheap" stuff. *sigh*

Just drove by the gas station today, gas is $3.49 for regular.
It is so unfair to charge so much for gas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Our government doesn't care that they are making a huge profit off the people they are suppose to serve.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!In So. California we are paying for regular $3.39. That is all I can afford. Not supreme for me!!!! :(
Welp, up to $3.49 today!Quote:

Tonight I filled up at $3.02. I'm so thankfull that I traded in my truck for a little gas sipper.
We typically pay €1.15 per litre over here right now so if we are on an exchange rate of $1.36 for every €1.00 I think that is quite expensive here also.
$2.88/gallon, here in Houston, when I filled up this morning. I'm vedy thankful to only live about 4 miles from work.
Par...
we have gone up to $4.40 USD per gallon :(
$3.19 Sunday, $3.25 per gallon yesterday, $3.29 today, will probably go up again tomorrow, its been going up every 1-2 days
In Pittsburgh, the average is between (for now) $2.94 and $2.99 per gallon. It's a lucky thing my Cobalt isn't a gas guzzler and I live about 50 yards away from work!
