:D
I live in the Cleveland area but am a Yankees fan.
LOLOLOL
GO CUBS!The owner of the Dodgers just raised the price of parking 5 bucks and the most expensive seat is now priced 250.00
I want to see the team, not buy it!
I can't help but root for the Dodgers. I love Luis Gonzales... He's such a great guy! I spent the first 26 years of my life in Houston... and watched him play for the Astros coming up in the leagues, and the last several years have watched him play for the D-Backs here in my new state of Arizona. Gonzo was released from the Diamondbacks at the end of last season, and he went to the Dodgers.
I just love watching the Dodgers beat the D-Backs.
:D
I also like watching the Yankees. I grew up and went to school with Andy Pettite... so it's interesting to watch him play.
"The Red Sox are playing their home opener tonight and Dice-K is on the mound! I feel a World Series coming on this year! Go Sox!"
It's good to have another sox fan in here :) I'm confused though - DiceK didn't pitch the home opener....the home opener was on 4/10 and Beckett pitched...and DiceK pitched the 11th. Both great games...I was at Opening Day :)
Tonight - Red Sox vs Yanks :D Schilling vs Pettitte....I'm headed to Fenway in a few hours for this one. Go Sox!!!
HOLY MOLE!
The Dodgers won last night on a walk off grand slam by R Martinin the 10th...
great game!
(LOL, I had to switch between UFC and the game...I made it just in time for the hr....)
SM,
Playboy picked the Dodgers to win it all....
I know...I just look at the sports predictions and the articles.
LN&, Drink a beer for me?
.
Thanks and have fun!
It seems like the Bosox and Yanks have been playing all week..
SAVE SOME FOR THE END OF THE SEASON!
RICHARD, I don't know what's happening here! The Pirates are finally looking like a baseball team! If we can play Houston, we'll win every game! GO BUCS!!
Condolences to the St Louis Cardinal team... :(
--------------------
A seventeen inning game that the Dodgers won....
Something scary is happening here.
-------------------
Baseball God,
(not to be confused with Touchdown Jesus)
Please don't let me get sucked into following the team and then having them implode in September.
Amen.
I guess that player that was in the car crash & died was drunk. And they found pot in his car.
Ugh,
Bonds hits another tater and what is up with Clemens?
That amazes me,
he misses ST and still gets ten zillion dollars a month.....Kinda losing respect for the Rocket.
I lost respect for the rocket when he had the bad blond dye job.
I also have little respect for a pro baseball player who doesn't care about the fans, and charges kids for autographs.
:D :D :DQuote:

KInda interested in knowing if anyone is going to tune in when Bonds breaks the HR record?
--------
I have to admit that I will watch because I want to see history and the reaction of the fans.
At home? Away?
How is he gonna act?
I know Hank Aaron probably won't watch...
Stay tuned?
Ummm Go Jays Go... Crap they suck :o
I remember when they had the winning streak for a few years! That was back int he early 90's.. I feel old lol
UGH,
I dislike the Angels-they beat the Yanks three straight....
But we get the Bosox-Yanks this week!
Redemption or ???????
This guy deserves an Oscar!
:D

Last week was a good week for hitting.
A-Rod hitting on blondes, Cubs Players hitting on each other and the Bosox and Yankees hitting batters!
Is anyone watching the college World Series....
How can you cheer against a team named the Anteaters?
I laughed at the uniforms.....'EATERS' on the front!
------
The extra inning game the other day was GREAT! :)
And... my Cubs have won ONE in a row! Woohoo! Last week they had three consecutive wins - but they can't seem to keep it all together again this year. Watching the White Sox struggling is just heartbreaking. So close, and yet so far. The second installment of the Crosstown Classic (Cubs vs. Sox) is this weekend -- so that means that our two teams can't both lose. Phew! The Bears' pre-season starts in mid-August, too.
i'm all for the braves, they are going to play against the red sox tonight!
The Anteater run, ran out yesterday..... :(
Oh well,
Play ball!
The good news: The Cubs have won three in a row.
The bad news: The White Sox lost three out of three...to the Cubs.
*sigh* Baseball in Chicago...

Rule of Chicago baseball: Never give up!
Like what is the deal with A-Rod's wife?
That's one way to get attention!
The All-Star Game.
Great finish, but....
Learn the National Anthem....words and tune, please?

Why are all the pundits kissing Barry Bonds rear end?
Why is BB kissin my arse?
The same people that were "BARRYING" him are oh-so-in-love with the
cheater.
Let's see, can you spell exclusive interview?
And the idiot's comments about the players "getting together"- Oh sure,
let's talk in your private dressing area in the clubhouse, you know, the one with the T.V. set in it.
---------------
No one can accuse most of the players of taking any body enhancing drugs...
They look likt they need a meal and a uni that fits!
I forgot to post about the 'contest' before the ASG.
Did they pick the wimpiest guy to hit off of the tee?
The contest was 30 seconds to hit three balls off of a tee. I think it was a million dollars to hit the ball, on the fly, for a million dollars more than 285 feet. There were two other prizes 500,000 for something like 260 feet and 100,000 for 245.
He barely rolled it 245.
He shoulda taken some steroids.
--------------------------
Well, start your engines, Time for the second season....Good luck to all!
Since the All-Star break, the Sox are 1 and 3. They've lost three in a row. But the Cubs - 3 and 0! They swept the Houston series (Houston was the team the White Sox played when they won the World Series). Never, never give up!Quote:

THIS is what I've been waiting for!
It is SOOOOO much fun.
I went to my first game during the county's 150th anniversary party a couple months ago.
Great Giants game last night.....they lost.
With two out in their half of the ninth they score four and tie...only to lose...
---------------------------
Is Gary Sheffield a joke or what?
haha, my friend from work was at that game and she kept texting me with updates (even though i was watching on TV). the bottom of the 9th was FANTASTIC! even if they did lose :D
The Cubs are only half a game behind Milwaukee in the NL Central ... they play today, but the Brewers don't. Like every Cubs fan I hate to get my hopes up ... but it's hard not to with the way they've been playing. GO, CUBBIES!
Meanwhile, the Sox lost to Toronto at home yesterday. They won two of the three games in the series, though. They're off today. This has been such an up-and-down year for them.
We also have a minor-league team, the Kane County Cougars, who are part of the Oakland A's organization. Those games are a blast because the tickets and parking are cheap compared to the Cubs and Sox, the food's good, and there are always fun things going on like give-aways or watching children run on the base paths after the game. They have fireworks several times each year, and you never know who you'll see playing that might someday be in the major league. Plus, our Cougars have won five out of their last 6! Yeay!
For the record...
I said Go Cubs a few months ago! :D

First place baby!
Congrats to A-Rod......
And GO Glavine!
Great stuff happening in baseball.
----------------------
And the jerk jerked 755.
Notice,
The woman in the black sleeveless sweater giving him the thumb's down as he made it to home plate and look at all his teammates run up to congratulate him......Loser.
The Lost Angeles Angels of Anaheim trimmed their rosters over the weekend...
They began to get rid of the roaches and rats in the stadium, Honest!
Coco Crisp of the Bosox was almost run over by the mascot of the Mariners.
For once, a moose runs over a man, justice?
The criticism of Bud Selig not being a huge fan of Barry Bonds isn't justified.
The media was ticked off at Bonds being an AH to reporters and writers for the longest time.
Now that Bonds is kissing tail and trying to make up for his mistreatment of the media, he's become Poor Barry. Now BB is the greatest, most loved and most misunderstood baseball player on the planet.
He should just come clean about using 'roids and get it over with.
Aaron will always be the greatest home run hitter in pro ball, end of subject.
RICHARD, I totally agree with you. Barry might as well admit that he uses them, everyone else in the country knows it. When he played for Pittsburgh he didn''t fool with steroids, he used natural ability to play baseball. He comes to S.F. and becomes a boob. Hank Aaron to me will remain the real record holder.

Last night the Giants went into extra innings.
Wynn got a bases loaded walk off single.
The team mobbed him at home. For winning one game.
What record? ;)
