She's a beauty! Eika, I'm over in Newton, if you wanna come play in the snow with me. My bunny doesn't like snow one bit.

It's pronounced "eye-ka" The breeder named her and I just stuck with it.

Oh, I was pronouncing it right!! woo hoo!! I like that name, it suits her. :D

I recently saw a large number of Giant Schnauzers in person at Westminster and I was very impressed. I've even found myself thinking about owning one. Lol. They are just beautiful dogs.

Probably because the size is just right! :D

I love this breed. She's #3. They aren't a very popular breed. At least not in this area. People often ask me what she is.

She was going to be my Schutzhund dog but finding a club nearby is damn near impossible. I had a trainer lined up but that didn't work out. So, I'm looking into other performance events.

She turned a year old last month.

She's gorgeous! It does look like she chose her castle and is even willing to help clear the walk way. :)

Eika's a very pretty girl, seems like she's also got personality plus! love the picture with the snow shovel - wish mine had such a good work ethic. ;)
I saw a couple Giant Schnauzers at a local dog event, I was pretty impressed! I'd never heard of them before. They are hugh!

It's not often that I get to see a Giant Schnauzer - they really are gorgeous, and Eika has got to be one of the cutest ones I've seen. Great pics! :)

I love the one of helping with winter chores.. lol.. Great pictures! :D ( oh and uh- Femka wants to know if the castle is heated, with running water and food and uh of course a queen size bed.. lol.. and satin comforters on it.. etc.

Her name is pronounced "eye_ka" I believe it's the female "version" of Eiko which I think is German. I always forget to ask her breeder every time we email. I'd like to know what it means.
