We heard 1....2 heart beats!!!!!

Well yesterday I picked up my mom and met my boyfriend at the walk-in-clinic.. I had my first sonogram...She squeezed on some jelly (wich was really cold hehe)... And then started searching... She found it Right away, on my left side .. It was VERY LOUD, and strong... 172.. She said it was normal for ten weeks... I cried, Shaun couldent whipe the grin off his face... lol..

So then I got her to call my mom in the room as well... When she started searching for the heart again to show my mom we heard TWO different sets of heart BEATS!!!! ... One was Really soft, the other was really loud.... Could it be!!!!??!!!??!!!??!!! (Doctor said we wont know for sure if it is TWINS till my next altrasound in four weeks!!!!!)

OH MY STARS!!!! WOW!!!
( BTW- twins run in my family too. My grandmother use to say to keep twins together in the same crib- they sleep better together.. hmmmm...)

I just saw an old acquaintance that I hadn't seen in three years - she had triplet boys 23 months ago. They were in the car with Daddy while Momma was shopping. So she's been even busier than most new moms!

WOW! Sometimes they can pick up your heartbeat, but SURELY this ultrasound tech is experienced enough to know the difference! :eek: :D

Congrats!! A co-worker of mine had identical twin girls this past August and boy do they keep her busy. She has yet to take them out all by herself yet. :)

buuuuutttt.... we heard two distinct beats on Ashley too. Sometimes the tummy makes a great echo chamber. ;)

well she did say somtjhing about how it probably was my heart beat, but who knows... she said we wont know for sure till my altrasound in 4 weeks... till then, its fun to get excited about right ? ;)
