This is my co-worker's cat. Aren't his eyes stunning? I've never seen a blue-eyed tuxedo. I didn't even know it was possible. I guess because he's a a mixed breed? Anyway, I just thought I'd share because it is so unique.

I don't recall seeing a blue eyed tuxie either. He sure is a handsome boy.

Do you know if the cat is deaf? Blue eyes can sometimes mean a deaf animal.
I do agree the eyes look stunning especially on that black and white coloring.
He is beautiful! There is a breed of cat called the Ojos Azules that has blue eyes and comes in all coat colors. Thanks for sharing that picture, he is such a cutie! :)

Deaf animals learn very quickly to respond to vibrations. Best way to find out if it's noise or vibration is sneak up behind the cat, or while sleeping and clap your hands loudly, or open a can of food, or something else that should get a reaction, watch to see if the ears flick or any other indication of hearing.Quote:

I'm not sure if he is deaf. I'm familiar with deaf animals, I used to work at a vet as well :) His owner just asked me to take pictures of him for her, so I did. I didn't really ask any questions ;)
I'm not sure. I can't even remember his name :o To be fair, she has over 40 cats, so it's hard to remember them all. About 35 of them are fosters though.Quote:
