Awww your babies are so adorable!! I love Lucy and Zoe!!

Your girls are so cute. Do you know what mix Lucy is? How did she come to live with you. Actually, how did you get each of your little cuties? Tell us something about them. :)

Thank you for all the compliments on my girls here are there stories...

Lucy was rescued by a friend from the shelter at the age of 8 weeks. All I know for sure about her mix is that her mom was a basset hound lab mix. No idea what her dad was. My friend had to move to an apartment and couldn't keep her anymore when she was 18 weeks old so I took her in. I got her a few days before my birthday in 2006.

Maggie was owned by my great uncles friend who also moved to an apartment and couldn't keep her anymore, my great uncle kept her for a few weeks and ended up giving her to my grandmother, my grandmother kept her for about 6 months and ended up giving her to my great aunt who kept her for about a month when she peed on the floor one time my great aunt gave her back to my grandmother. I told my grandmother I would foster her and find her a good home but she ended up staying here permanently because I got so attached to her. I got her in february of 2006.

Gracie I got last september on my birthday I wanted a rescue dog so my mom went to the shelter and picked one out for me. She actually would have been euthanized after closing that day if my mom hadn't gotten her. I got her september of 2005.

Zoe was found by my grandmother wandering on the side of the highway she was a walking skeleton and very emaciated. She had saggy breasts like she had just raised a litter of puppies and she was very scared and you could tell she was abused. She has a severely deformed ribcage possibly from where someone kicked her although it could also be a birth defect. She is also brain damaged I believe because she doesn't act quite right...I believe some one kicked her as punishment frequently because she was very scared of feet. I have had her for about 6 years now and she is much less scared.

I love Lucy. She is so cute!! I'm so jealous of you. You have the cutest dogs on this planet!! ;)

Poor Zoe. I had a real soft spot for her before, but now even more so. It sounds like all four of your girls were lucky to have found you.

Thanks guys for your comments! I always love to get comments on my girls but I get from people that I know all the time that Zoe and Lucy are ugly. :confused: Someone looked at my binder at school (it has all my dogs on the front of it. They said the only one that wasn't ugly was Gracie. :confused: I think they are all adorable though.

Hehe, that's the exact reason she joined, because someone directed her here after saying they look alike. I hope Moo grows to be as cute as her, too! Moo has white on his chest, though.

Why on earth would anyone think any of your pups are ugly? (I hate that word) They must be blind! Your pups are all the cutest!!! :D

Lucy is now about 7 1/2 months old she is such an awesome addition to my family. I actually finally got her vet records yesterday. It looks like she was about 3-4 weeks younger than I thought she was. When I got her I thought she was 18-19 weeks but she was really about 15 weeks.

They are all absolutely gorgeous in their very own special way. NONE of them are ugly to me and anyone who thinks they are must be crazy:p
