Meet my first foster: GIZMO !!!(more pics added!!)

Remember my friend Francine who had to let her Bliksem go to the RB in september??
She wants a new kitten soooo much. But her hubby says he is not ready yet.
Her daughter and Francine found a perfect way: they looked for a kitten, and will "give" it on Christmas Eve!! It will work, I know that man ;) !!

So, untill then, I offered to foster the little one!! It's name will be GIZMO. We have NO idea about the gender, but that doesn't really matter! Gizmo is 6 weeks old and is already weaned from his mommy and is eating on its own!!

oh Lut what a tiny little mite. Gizmo looks kinda scared I guess he is still so young so that is expected. let's hope your friends hubby accepts this little sweetie otherwise you might find yourself with a new member of the family. :p

There is absolutely NO doubt about that! I wouldn't have accepted the fostering if I had any doubts!! 4 cats is our maximum, and we want to stick to that :)

Little Gizmo spent some time on my lap! She was under a towel, only showing her head. She loved it there!! She even licked my fingers!

OH MY GOSH! Gizmo is adoreable! I was going to say he (?) is a Chester lookalike but his face is tons cutier than Chesters was at that age. SO ADOREABLE!

Oh that second set of pictures threw me over the edge! And I was right there with Kuhio..... kissing the monitor. Well, until my co-workers began asking what in the world I was doing!!! :o

You mean our own 4 cats?
They have met little Gizmo, but only while the little one was safely on my lap :D . Maya and Inka only "sniffed" a bit; Snoopy is very curious and keeps a "what is THAT??"- eye on Gizmo. Zazou jumped on yhe couch to have a closer look, and she even ended up licking Gizmo's head!! Those two would be good friends!!

My little Foster is doing really great! She remembered all the new things I learned her: she uses her litterbox like a real pro now, she licks my hands, and........ yesterday evening I heard her first cute "purr-concert" !! I was almost melting when I heard it!!

Oh, that sweet face! NO one could resist that darling little one. Gizmo, you are a beauty.

That has to be the BEST present in the world!

Day 3


This little bundle of fur is getting cuter by the minute!! It is her 3rd day with us now, and I must admit I enjoy every single minute with her! She is learning fast too! She is not scared of a furry (fake) mouse anymore, and also enjoys to slap at the tinsel-rod. Tomorrow she will be leaving us, to join her forever family..... . Will be VERY hard!!

What an adorable little kitten Gizmo is! What fun to have been able to cuddle a furbaby for three days! :D

Ha ha, to late for that!! Yesterday evening the little doll was playing with her mousie on my hubby's tummy :) :)
I've enjoyed this fostering soooo much!! This morning she even spent some time with me IN BED :eek: , playing with the light-cord :D

She is gone......

2 hours ago, her new forever meowmie picked her up :( . I know she is in a perfect home, so that is making me happy! BUT.... it was SOOOOOOO hard to see her go.... :( :( .
Dear little Gizmo, have a great Christmas with your new purrents, make them happy, and live happily forever, sweetheart! I will always love you!!
