Update on Sweetpea and pictures.

Sweetpea was spayed today and we went to pick her up at 7:30 tonight.

She is still a little wobbly but doing well. She came through her surgery with flying colors. She will be staying in my room for a few days to give her time to rest and to make sure that PeaPod doesn't nurse off of her. After that she will be let out under strict supervision. I know poor widdle PP will want to nurse and the vet said to try and keep them separated for at least 10 days. Maybe I will have to alternate, while one is out, the other stays in the room.

AWWWWW!!! These pictures sure are precious.:) It looks like PeaPod is going to be a very large cat. I hope that little PeaPod won't be too upset being separated from his mother while she's recovering and I'm glad to hear that everything went well with Sweetpea's spay and hopefully she'll recover quickly.

Awwww what sweet pictures!

I am not sure whether keeping them separated for too long will be good in terms of being social together- if P-Pod doesn't see her for 10 days he might well forget that SweetPea is his mom. :)

But Sweetpea would anyway have told Peapod now that he is too big a boy to nurse ;)

Oh my.... I am on cuteness overload with these pictures of SweetPea and her PeaPod AND Lena, our COTD! Everyone is just so sweet!

I am glad that mama and baby will be being adopted together. I mean, they just belong together! I am glad that SweetPea came through her spay with flying colors!

Oh, they are so cute! And he's gotten so BIG! I love the picture with that big fat white fluffy leg sticking off to the side as he nurses away, nearly half as big as his mom.

I'm also so glad that they will be staying together. And I hope the new owner will keep us updated.

Since they are so bonded, I am so happy that they will be going to their new home together so they will always have each other for company. :)

They are so sweet together. I'm so happy they're going to the same home, but we sure are going to miss them here! :D

Too early in the morning for so much sweetness. He is so darn adorable, I just can't get enough. Sure am going to miss seeing his cuteness.SweetPea is a great mom and it's great they are going to their new home together.
