Precious is at the Vets!!!

She has having trouble with her aer where Pouncierge scratched it, and now its balooned out, big time.
Shes having it lanced and disinfected and will probably not be back until Monday.
Please send a Precious Prayer.
At least Shemp and Moose Angel are sharing thier Thanksgiving Day Dinner with thier Dear Friend.

Poor Precious, pounded by Pouncierge! She'll get him back for making her miss Thanksgiving at home. When my Artful Dodger got Ginger's ear, many years ago, and I had to rush her to the vet with a ballooned ear, she waited until she was well again and then bit him in the side. His abcess needed real surgery and a drain. I'm sure Precious won't do something that mean, though - will she?

Poor Precious. I'm sorry you are stuck at the vet's for the weekend. But they want to make you better so that you can come home and retaliate!

I feel so guilty.
Because I delayed getting her to the Vet, part of her ear might have to be amputated.It has trurned purple, and I will forever feel guilty that I didnt help her sooner.
Please Pray that my Baby will not lose part of her ear.
She was so heart broken when I left the Vets Office, and she had to stay.

Gary, don't do the guilt thing. Instead, turn it into love for Precious when she gets home!

The way you have talked about your vet, he sounds like a good man, and I am sure he will do everything he can to save your little girl's ear.

It sounds like a hematoma, Gary! My Dexter had one too! It's not your fault at all! They fill up with blood really quickly! I'm glad I saw the post where she is back home now! Hugs and gentle kisses to sweet Precious!!! ;)

She looks utterly miserable, poor Precious. Did you get her out of her carrier and give her lots of cuddles? Or is she mad at you and escaped to a cat pile, turning her back on you? I'm very glad that she is back home and that, eventually, she will be back to normal. She'll probably sport a small battle scar.

Don't worry Precious, that silly cone thing will be gone very soon and you'll be good as new before you know it. Just keep telling Daddy that you need lots of Temptations in your favorite flavor for medicinal purposes. I hear Temptations are a kitty's miracle cure.
