:p :o :eek: Kids..wayyy too funny...but this picture is also a boy...and yes those kittens were nursing off HIM! This was some 12 (?) years ago...but this was one of my many feral rescues that year from a highway colony of many. Georgie got a great home and fell in love with a dog :eek:

Although The Kittens Could Not Get Milk From That Male Cat, They Could And Did Get Licks, Kisses And Purrrs Which Are Truly Priceless To Any Infant Human Or Animal.

Made me think of a cat I read about in the pets column in the Mercury News, a neutered male who often shared his home with fostered kittens. His hoomin said that although he could not nurse the kittens, he would do EVERYTHING else that a mother cat would do: keep them clean, sleep curled around them to keep them warm, show them how to use the litter box.
All the same, [snicker] poor Buddy. :D

Hey, don't feel too bad. We had a very fat siamese foster for a while. His name was Cocoa, and our kitten (Roxie) actually DID "nurse" on him! He was so fat, that well um, he looked like a mommy cat! ;) I had pictures somewhere .... I'll have to dig them up!
That was really funny. Now, did your son think of that by himself or did you "suggest" it to him? Buddy is totally unphased by the joke, he knows it's only gentle fun.
oh he definately thought that up on his own. He and his "buddy" Buddy, are always playing on the floor together. He is really neat little kitty to have....we so much enjoy him :) no matter what my son is doing, Buddy has to be right in there with him "helping" as they get along very well. :)
