MIssing Michigan Dogs

My pets, Manford - Male German Shepherd and Sasha, female Siberian Husky have been missing for 8 months. We believe they were taken by a neighbor and dumped off. (possible in Mecosta, Newaygo or Montcalm counties) I am asking that everyone PLEASE for this link to everyone you know to try to bring my babies home before gun hunting begins, November 15th. 4 days ago, a lady had her two dogs come up missing, one came home with an arrow through his chest and they still have not found the other one. :( This was only 10 miles from my home. Contact information and their pictures can be seen on the following site. Thanks so much in advance for your help, even if its just forwarding the information on, you never know when someone will know a contact.

Have you contacted all rescues and shelters in your state and near by states? You can find a list of them all at www.petfinder.com. Also make sure to post an ad for your Lost furkids on Petfinder.
There are a lot of web sites you can post a missing pet on.
I'd do a Goole search to find them all.

Go to Yahoo and join all of the Michigan rescue/pet groups you can find and post pictures and the story and your location. The dogs may have ended up in a shelter and have since gone to rescue...

If you buy into animal communicators, I know one here in Fort Wayne and my husband is pretty good at it too, perhaps you can find them that way.

Can you give me anymore info on the dogs? Names? Ages? Weights? Colors? Personalities?

Also, on a sad note, could you handle bad news? I hate to ask that, but, the reality is that it may be bad news. Having been there done that, but, have been on the good side as well.

I am in Montcalm County. (Gowen) We are surrounded by Kent, Ionia, Mecosta and Newaygo counties.

I have joined the Yahoo rescue groups several months ago. Also the pups are each listed with their Breed rescue agencies. I have posted on Petfinder, dogdetective, missingpets, fido finder and anywhere else I ran across. K-9 Alert, lol Can't think of them all. Thanks again!!! :)

I will put it out on OTRA and put it on the mods board and see if we can't get some bites.

I PMed you...the area you have circled is northeast of where you guys talked about...I think...the area he showed me was on the southeast side of that really big lake and right on the lake.

I told him to look at the map when he gets to the store.

HI everyone! My husband and I went to the lake area. We are waiting on some information yet.

I have been watching this thread... I HOPE they are microchipped or tatto'ed or some kind of sure fire way to prove they ARE your dogs!! KEEP US POSTED PLEASE!

Thanks! Uhm, no they are not microchipped or tattoed, but when they come home they will be. I have pictures, vet records, neutered certificates, AKC papers for both and dog licenses, not to mention they were stolen and I have been actively pursueing them and everyone around here knows it. Animal control and the State Police will go with me if I have any problems bringing them home. I had them from babies up to 5 and 7 years and I think even the people who have them will know they are mine when they see them react to me. They are my babies, their will be no doubt in anyones mind. Manford is extremely protective of me and Sasha very loyal! Thanks to everyone for all your prayers. Every bit helps!! :)
