Oregon Vacation Pictures: Part 1

I've got a lot of pics to put up so I thought today I'd mostly do the ocean. There are a few others thrown in. I've included a short video of the ocean and you can hear how hard the wind was blowing. It's so beautiful there! It was actually cold which was refreshing. I gave up trying to keep my hair combed while I was there a lot of the time because of the wind. But, I'll take the wind and the rain (didn't have any while I was there) over this horrible heat and humidity any day of the week. I had a wonderful time and miss Brian terribly. Hope you enjoy. I'll try to put up some more pics soon. I've got quite a few left.

We went to the docks and I got to meet some of Richard's friends. Here is Molly, one of his friend's dogs. She was such a doll.

Brian's friend's girlfriend works at a purse store. I saw this and loved it!

The only thing is, it wasn't a purse but a portable dog feeder.

I gutted it while I was at Brian's and am in the process of turning it into a purse. I've got some dog bone ribbon that I'm putting on the corners and will line it with some dog fabric. I can't wait to get it fixed.

My daughter is taking a job transfer and will be moving to Oregon soon.
I've never been there & don't know anyone else who has either.Did you
like any place in particular? What towns have you been too? Sorry for all

Wow, the Pacific coast is beautiful.. I still yet have to see it someday, hopefully next summer when I hopefully visit California.. :)

Coos Bay, Bandon and Port Orford. It's a beautiful area.

Nice pictures - makes me miss the ocean! We always went to Mass. coast for summer vacations when I was a kid. JoJoe & I took our honeymoon trip to Oregon - I love'd it there! It's soooooooooooo beautiful. How did you get that "starry" effect of the sun?

The sun looked exactly like that. It was such a beautiful day.

My John lived some of his adult life in Oregon. That's all I hear about. He misses it so much too!

Hehe, I know where those places are! Coos Bay is pretty close to where some of my family lives. That's in Gardiner/Reedsport.

I grew up in Pendleton and Eugene/Springfield. :D I didn't know so many people were fans of Oregon!

Oh Val, what a terrific trip for you!!!!! The pictures are just breathtaking. It amazes me how different the coastline is in different parts of our country. That certainly isn't anything like the southeast Atlantic coast!

And I'm so happy that you're happy! Florida is a long way from Oregon, though, isn't it? :(

We met on Yahoo chat. I found out he was an animal lover and that's what got us started. Yesterday was our 6th month anniversary :D

Thanks to everyone who has expressed their happiness for me. It's been a long time coming.

BREATHTAKING pics!!! WOW, I had NO idea Oregon has such a beautiful coastline! In some pics, it even looks very much alike the Atlantic coast in Brittany, France!!

I love the Coos Bay area! I spent some very happy vacations there when I was a kid. :D
