Woot! -update: now I have 2

I'm getting a RAT!!!

His name is Cosmo & hopefully I can get him in a weeks time! His rat buddy is beating the hell out of him, so he needs a new home. I'm just waiting for a cage & some rat supplies... means I need to clean up my pet room, so I have a place to put the cage where Axle can't trample it lol

I miss having Rats so much.. my old guys were sooo much fun.. Rattus was my baby & her daughtor Rat would play fight with me all the time, oh so much fun :) I know Cosmo is a good boy as hes coming from a friend, & hes never bitten which is nice as I haven't been bitten by a rat yet & when i was bitten by one of my mice I was rushed to the ER lol darn thing hit a nerve & was loosing movement & feeling in my hand.

Ok, I'm a sucker.. Now I have Cosmo & Grissom.. both Males.. I'll be picking them up on Sat I think.. Their mommy is very happy they are going to a good home, she was worried about her boys...

shoot.. I should have kept his photobucket open & posted the links to it here.. his current mommy loves him very much & takes lots of photos of ALL her rat babies :)

She sad to see Cosmo go, but she knows he going to good hands & she still gets to see him :)

yay, just in time for me to play with him when I come up! i SO miss having little ratkins in my house. They really are great pets aren't they! ;)

I just love rats :)
I rescued a few crazy ones.. I decided it wasn't worth stressing them out, so I never touched them.. they were happing cuddling up to my 6 tame rats :)

& Sue I should have about 4 by the time you come down lol

CONGRATS!!! i can't wait to see pics! man i wish i could get a couple ratties! my parents say "NO WAY!" and it doesn't look too promising with the boyfriend either. :(

I HAVE A HUGE CAGE!!!! I got a 3foot by 1.5 by 1.5 cage for the Rats!! I think I'll pick up Cosmo next weekend with 5 girlfriends! I'm sooo excited!

I found 2 wire baskets, that I plan to hang from the top of the cages!! It'll be soo cool :D Already bought some kibble for them & plan to find a few toys for them soon.

Woot cant wait for pictures!!

I'm gonna have to tear my closet apart to find the twine to hang the baskets... hmmm


I know rat urin can be stinky... I forget what to put into their water, was it juice?
