I made sure my bosses knew what day it was. :D
I got a big bouquet from one boss and then the whole staff got me a small bouquet and a basket with tea/chocolate/tea cup/tea pot. :D
It's been a good day. :D
Happy Admin day to those people who hold any company together. I can't imagine what my company would do without our admin.
Being a support person myself, I guess I can weigh in on this. Never liked the idea. Just give me the respect and consideration I deserve and pay me what I am worth. I don't think that any particular position should be singled out for flowers, candy, or a free meal. Just seems a bit gratuitous to me and in that way demeaning. Hope I'm not offending anyone who enjoys this type of *recognition*, just wanted to say that I don't.
Me too! One of my supervisors took me out to lunch and the president of our division bought me a huge bouqet of easter lillies!! They're beautiful!Quote:

Just so I have this correct, that would be the lady at the front desk right?
(switchboard, greeter, mail, lots of other stuff)
If so I'm gonna send her an E-greeting
Yep that would be her!Quote:

I didn't even know what day it was so I know my bosses have NO idea what so ever.
I see me mentioning something in the very near future. :p
thanks guys :)
I always think about her. She misses out on so much free foods. If I don't see her in the room, I'll fill a plate with all sorts of goodies & rush it to her :)
Just sent it, I hope she gets it :)
That is so sweet and thoughtful of you! I bet she appreciates it a lot :)Quote:
